Are you paying your credit card bill via 3rd party app or directly from your bank portal? then you are probably losing 1% cashback.
If you pay your credit card bill via HDFC Bank bill payment portal using your HDFC Bank debit card then you can earn 1% cashback, maximum Cashback capping depends on your debit card type.
Maximum Cashback Capping-
If you have HDFC Easyshop Platinum debit card then you can earn 1% upto Rs. 750 per month, just pay Rs. 75,000 bill & get Rs. 750 cashback.
If you have HDFC Millennia debit card then you can earn 1% upto Rs. 400 per month, just pay Rs. 40,000 bill & get Rs. 400 cashback.

Not only credit card bill, you can pay any utility bill you want (must be available on Hdfc bank bill payment portal) & get 1% cashback.

To Pay Bill Follow These Steps-
1. Login to your HDFC Bank Netbaning
2. Click on "BillPay & Recharge" tab -> Click on Continue



3. Now click on Add Biller
4. Select Credit Card
5. Now select your card provider name



6. Enter your credit card detail
7. Enter amount you want to pay
8. Select your debit card from drop down menu
9. Click on pay



10. Enter OTP & Done!

You'll receive 1% Cashback for the transaction, you can check & redeem your debit card Cashback from "Card Tab -> Debit Card -> Enquiry -> Cashback Enquiry & Redemption"

yes....but keep airtel for credit cards...........paytm has rolled back charges for cc bill payment via wallet...use it....and it only works for airtel wallet

max cb will be for airtel axis card and ace....also eterna will give 3.75%

Its user specific... But ranges from 2-4% plus gst...

Don't confuse platforms. And also, your cashback is dependent on MCC presented by the payment processor.

What's the error you're seeing? Also card maintenance is a scheduled activity. Don't worry too much about it.

Don't remember the exact wording but it had to do with the rounding figures of point as its need to multiples of 10 I guess? Also tried only redeeming 250 only got the message that cant process with some vague reasoning and try it after sometime.

Added RBL Zomato Classic card at 10.00 AM as biller, it become Active at 10.05 AM and paid the bill at 10.20 AM through Platinum Debit card. Received mail from RBL Bank at 10.24 that payment is received. This is super fast especially for HDFC. Last month, through PayTM a day to reflect the payment. Hope I will get the cashback points also quickly by tomorrow.

Yeah I have noticed this too in case of RBL CC payment. It took mere seconds for me to get payment confirmation SMS from RBL!
