Pay Credit Card Bill Via HDFC Bill Payment Portal And Get 1% Cashback

Are you paying your credit card bill via 3rd party app or directly from your bank portal? then you are probably losing 1% cashback.
If you pay your credit card bill via HDFC Bank bill payment portal using your HDFC Bank debit card then you can earn 1% cashback, maximum Cashback capping depends on your debit card type.
Maximum Cashback Capping-
If you have HDFC Easyshop Platinum debit card then you can earn 1% upto Rs. 750 per month, just pay Rs. 75,000 bill & get Rs. 750 cashback.
If you have HDFC Millennia debit card then you can earn 1% upto Rs. 400 per month, just pay Rs. 40,000 bill & get Rs. 400 cashback.

Not only credit card bill, you can pay any utility bill you want (must be available on Hdfc bank bill payment portal) & get 1% cashback.

To Pay Bill Follow These Steps-
1. Login to your HDFC Bank Netbaning
2. Click on "BillPay & Recharge" tab -> Click on Continue



3. Now click on Add Biller
4. Select Credit Card
5. Now select your card provider name



6. Enter your credit card detail
7. Enter amount you want to pay
8. Select your debit card from drop down menu
9. Click on pay



10. Enter OTP & Done!

You'll receive 1% Cashback for the transaction, you can check & redeem your debit card Cashback from "Card Tab -> Debit Card -> Enquiry -> Cashback Enquiry & Redemption"

For SC and AXIS it's rent MCC (Confirmed today) Amex is bill pay no points credited

How did you confirm?
When I called CC, they said they can't tell MCC for DC transactions

Nope visited branch for some other request at the time PB auth person confirmed it's rent and properties MCC they can find the same using merchant name and loop in visa MCC DB

Very sad if they don't award RP for these..
I am suspecting if HDFC does this it is certainly targeting their rivals on purpose..
Now we will know who is rival or who is friend to HDFC!! because they are allowing some banks CC payments

This is correct.. if we complain they may remove RPs for all Banks’ CC payments…

Made a test payment of ₹1000 to Amex using ESP DC via HDFC Billpay on 25th. Credited to account on 26th. But not reward points on the DC inspite of showing HDFCBILLPAY in SB account statement. Previously RPs were credited in 2 days always. I think the updated system works differently. Hope to get RPs soon.

Just remember as per latest observation it's now 3+1 working days now.. Tuesday one settled on saturday

I pay my bills within a few days of statement generation. So a 3 or 4 day delay in crediting to card account is fine. But if not getting RPs, have to find some other option.

But the problem is that SC is not yet on BBPS I think. So can't pay via the new favourites of TFCians like Unipay, Canara Billpay,

For paying cc bills on sbi unipay, mastercard variant se ni ho pata hai payment. Same issue was with mobikwik, paytm too. Visa variant me ye problem nahi hai.

I paid my HDFC DCB bill on SBI UniPay just now using HDFC Preferred Easyshop Platinum Debit Card (Mastercard variant). Will I get the 1% cashback or not?
