Paytm wallet load charges now 4.35%, Better alternative???

Recently Paytm started charging 4.35% on credit card wallet loading. Previously it was 2.35%

What are the better alternative now with cheaper rate.

Any suggestions?

Correct, it already came down to 3.3 from 4.3 within one month ( numbers are approximate)

That's good. It's user specific and I think it works without following a set pattern. Mine have been to 3.35 for last 3 months or so not going down. Not too bad though, as I am still getting 2 percent offers.

Yes, its completely user specific largely depends upon our activity... but there are ceratin rules that are generally followed..

Yeah, I agree. E.g. charges going up if transferred to bank account and so on. But there's more to it, that doesn't follow exact pattern.

Use mobikwik-2.5% or amazon ICICI card for rent payment, you get 1% cashback which nullifies 1% surcharge

I haven't used wallet since last 6-7 months. Right now when I checked to add 10K using my AmEx CC, the Convenience fees was 265. So, 2.65% charges.
Other than that, I have 1.5% offer upto 300 CB thingy.

Yea, this is normal..it is as best as you can get..
Don’t transfer any money from wallet to bank.. then most likely the rates will remain the same

I made a credit card bill after adding money via credit card. My charges gone up from 2.35 to 3.35 . So they consider credit card bill payment same like wallet to bank transfer.

So may be what they allow is paytm to Paytm transfer only

Currently, mobikwik is showing a coupon century which gives 1% cashback upto 100. So we can load 10000 for a charge of 195 (295 convenience fee - 100).
