Payzapp + Red Girraffe MCC Patched

Payzapp has corrected the MCC for rent transactions done on Red Girraffe. I did a transaction yesterday and the merchant name is reflected as PZRENT. The transaction got settled today and Axis has charged a 1% rent surcharge + GST as well. So it’s no longer reflected as a utility transaction

What’s the alternate, quicker way to pay, non PayZapp way ?

In the past there was a non bill pay way to pay, by only entering RG ID and mobile number.

Not sure if that still exists or how to do that now.

Now that pz+RG does not work and on billpay only hdfc cards can be used to pay rent. So is there a way to pay rent via magnus ?

Now that it's pzrent , will rent count towards milestone in magnus ? It won't give regular RPs I suppose.

Till August 31, you can try BharatNXT or Snapay.you will get normal rewards and milestone benefits.

Note-Axis is blocking accounts,if they see Bharanxt as a mechant. Eventhough its a genuine payment.

You can add Redgirraffe ID under 'rent' section. And then you can use your linked HDFC Credit card,Debit card and Bank account to pay the rent. By doing with credit card, people are getting rewards points.

1.As of now, people are getting reward points for it(it can be patched anytime).DCB should also get reward points.

2.There is is no convenience fee.(one trasction per month. for second rental payment in a month, I guess there is 1% charge, but I am not 100% sure)

Why even introduce new facilities if they decide to roll it back later, that too for a genuine platform like RedGiraffe. It reeks!

Yes, but the issue is after installing, play store automatically disables the app and asks you to upgrade

Any way of keeping the old version running without upgrading is needed

Thanks for your reply @NikhilTravelLover . Is there a post on how to add and generate Redgiraffe ID. I tried - it was giving option to select amongst 'pay through bank' and pay "though credit card", and asked for a lot of details including bank account and PAN, etc. Also, it was asking for rent agreement. Any help would be appreciated.
I'm planning to use DCB for paying rent through the method mentioned by you
