PNB launched New Range of Debit Cards

Recently opened PNB unnati account online. Only got account confirmation mail with last 4 digits of customer ID and account number. But to open internet banking or PNB One app I need full account number/ID. Called customer care and she told me to visit branch with adhaar card to get passbook. Is this normal? What's the point of online account if we can't access it without visiting bank
 
Same problem facing..even you find account details you can't register in net banking because your number has not been registered to retail category even you opened your savings account by aadhaar video kyc with signature in video call still your mobile number not updated with retail category, for that you have to visit your branch..

** Just wait for 7 days, you will get your cheque book where your account number has been written*

I got my brother account details from my old school classmate who recently joined PNb as clerk by IBPS exam..i send details of my brother like aadhaar,pan and register number..he sent account number... But he didn't able to add phone number as he doesn't allowed to add phone number of others branch
I'll visit the branch tomorrow. This completely defeats the purpose of online account opening and and it's so stupid to do in 2025. All these efforts just to open an account, I wonder what they will do to apply for a niche, super premium debit card.

I had applied for Imperial DC on 1st November, haven't received dispatch details yet ... called up PNB customer care today and they told me there's some error with my debit card application process ... visited branch today and was told there's no issue and got the Speed Post tracking number.

Because of stupid website, I couldn't even check the tracking number at the branch ... came back home and after several attempts to track the consignment, it says "no article found".

If there's anyone working at PNB, it would be easier to cross check this information without visiting the branch again. Please DM me if anyone can help.

Going to PNb branch Tommorow as i deposited 1 lakh yesterday in my general savings account (2k mainataince,metro)
Yesterday, visited to home branch.. filled up the application form and mention rupay select imperial DC along with code SAI .. Lucky that there is a new joinee around 27 age something.. she just took my form and ask her senior colleague that i wanted this card .her senior told that what ever i want give to me.. then she mentioned 708 will be issuance charge.. i said please go ahead.. till now ammount has been debited ,but no DEBIT card generated yet..
Having general savings account 2k , deposited some money to make 1 lakh in account just before 2 days visit to bank

Hoping to receive the debit card anytime soon by speed post as tracking isn't available ... I'm surprised that the tracking number I got from bank employee, whatever they are seeing on their screen, is that uploaded randomly? Like, how can tracking number be invalid for several people?
 
I went to PNB today ... first of all, I was told that I can't get this debit card as QAB should be above Rs. 50k but I said that code is SAI and it can be done if I've Rs. 1L or above in the account.

So, first, I was told to get KYC done as part of process of getting KYC done at a specific interval time to time. Staff who does KYC wasn't available due to election duty, so, I gathered all the patience in the world and politely tried to get it done from any other staff present. One of the person helped to get my KYC done and after 1.5 - 2 hours, I was able to get my KYC completed and then I filled out the debit card request form.

The lady at the counter mentioned that yes, I can get this debit card and issuance fee is Rs. 708 and I confirmed to go ahead. At that point only I asked to issue add-on debit cards for my family members if it's possible, so, applied for 2 add-on cards as well. Rs. 2,124 has been debited from statement against debit card issuance charges. Now, waiting for all 3 debit cards to arrive. I hope it goes well.
Was 2124 debited in one entry or 3 entries of 708?
 
Can u tell in which branch u opened the account
Will be going to PNB tommorow and will let him know that other branch was able to apply 3 cards at the same time so he should be able to do the same instead of 1 at a time
It could be a hit or miss because in case of my mother's account, I was only able to apply for primary card ... they didn't allow to apply for add-on.

Also, I'm yet to receive the card and tracking number doesn't work. I also feel I may or may not receive the cards, or, I may receive only primary card. Still, for your reference, my home branch is Boring Road, Patna.
