PNB launched New Range of Debit Cards

Anyone who opened PNB account recently ? Yesterday opened PNB account for my mom and deposited 1 lakh ammount.. today when i visited branch,that egoistic lady told me you are not eligible for this card , she said it takes time to eligible. I
I replied that for my account it is eligible then why not for my mom's account.. although egoistic lady asked how old is your account, i replied almost 10 years...
She said it took time,at present not eligible.. can anyone confirm after how many days, my mom's account eligible for rupay select debit card (SAI)..

Newly opened account yesterday on 26th Nov and deposited 1 lakh on same day, visited today 27th November
My brother applied last 2 last week, just by keeping 1L. And this Monday we applied 2 add-ons

What a shameful and disrespectful behaviour i faced today in home branch as well as one nearest branch..
In home branch, that lady told to me that account not eligible for this SAI DC ,and you don't get any ATM card what ever you want even having 1 lakh balance... the way she talked, really feel disrespectful..and in nearest branch, lady didn't take my application form when she knew that i am comming from different branch. She didn't even check in system whether my mother's account eligible or not...
I don't know whether i can apply this card for my mom's account in near future even after having 1 lakh balance in ac.
Wish that no-one could face this type of behavior from bank what i have faced today ..

Wait for a day, this Saturday is working for banks ... simply go to the branch manager and ask him that try applying for Imperial RuPay Select debit card (SAI) for my mother's account. If the system doesn't allow to apply, I'll go back home without saying a word but if it can be applied, kindly do so.

For reference, you can tell them that for your account, you did the same and got the card too.
 
I would recommend getting SBGEN (Savings general) & then apply for debit card with code SAI.
I did similar things..
Open general savings account.. deposit 1 lakh Balance and apply card
I opened my mother's SBGEN Ac, ordered 1st normal RSDC, I ordered Add-On SAI code RSDC on 15-Nov with more than 1L bal but my card not generated till today, previously for all other PNB RSDC, it was taking mostly 7-8 days to deliver the RSDC after order placement for RSDCs.

Mailed PNB care team, looking to create CPGRAM grievance tommorrow.

Did I make any mistake in the process, or it's just a rare procedure of PNB, what to do now.

Just ask them to convert it to sbgen

Are bhai abhi maintenance charges 0 ho gaye hai jyada tension mat lo. Eligible hai shayad bas balance 1 lakh hona chahiye

Thinking to downgrade SBGEN.... Yesterday when staff checked, she told account not eligible for SAI, that's why will try to downgrade to SBGEN from growth,and try to apply imperial
 
It will work, same was the case for me.
You downgraded from growth to SBGEN right, then applied imperial??
If yes, did you get any sms after conversation from growth to SBGEN @sousnake

Let see what happened.. submitted to application form ,one for downgrade to SBGEN from growth, and another for imperial written Sai code name in above the form...

Then he took my both form and told to me ,ok i will do. Again i told that please choose Sai what written on the form ,he said ok ..
Then he accepted both form( downgrade hand written application form and debit card application form)

Don't know what will be happen next time.. and account will not be transferred to different Branch as account was opened just 2 days ago, so it needs 6 months to transfer different branch..

One things clear to me that i will not get 3 cards withinn December for mom's account..

*Edited*: after one hour , i can see mom's account will be transferred to general savings account...
Not sure about whether staff applied DC yet as no sign of ammount deduction from account

Not sure about whether staff applied DC yet as no sign of ammount deduction from account
after downgrade you can check in pnb one app -> it shows sg gen. (no sms received).
Once it shows you can ask them to apply for SAI.
So in my case the lady when I visited branch was very helpful. She actually tried applying this debit card on some other sb gen account to confirm before downgrading. Then she helped me to convert instantly & also while applying she was showing me entire screen so that correct debit card is processed.
I think it depends on bank staff & how helpful they want to be.

It's same for me. I applied on 14th but till now nothing happened. May be they have some problem or some issue. Earlier I got tracking details within a week and card within 10-12 days. But as of now no details. I also went to bank to check is there any issue. But at their side there is no any issue. Card is still in process but no other details like tracking details card details available on their system.
 
Just now came back from home branch PNb, successfully applied two add on card in the name of my mother and father as brother option not present in PNB system.. instantly debited 1416....
When i asked for debit card form, new joinee girl asked me, aren't you who applied debit card few days ago, again you come?.⁉️‼️😙 I said this time for my mother and brother/father. After filling the form, when i gave her ,she said why you have signed on your mother and brother's signature place . I said please ma'am do it for favour,they don't come to me . She again said that are you going to foreign country, why need international card, i replied it has more benefits...

** 2 add on card successful placed**
so those who willing to apply 2 add on card at one go, please go ahead . But remember brother option not present there, you have to apply in the name of mother father,son, daughter...

Primary card delivered just before yesterday, card shown on PNB app yesterday..today around 10.30 am, i am able to apply 2 add on card in one go..
One things that when They have successfully placed your request, you got some review kind message instantly from PNB, that's also confirmed your request submission in their system
One question did they apply two add on card in one go or first they applied one add on and then second add on?
