[Possible New Card] Yes First Exclusive Credit card getting converted to Yes Reserv Credit Card

Hi Guys,

Just received this email, Well if 1 RP = INR 0.25 this is an excellent value. Since other terms and conditions remain the same regarding Fees and all (See the bottom line in SS), people who have it LTF will almost certainly keep it as LTF. 3% Reward rate for online spends, 1.5% for other,s and 0.75% for special (I think rent, insurance, and stuff); that's kinda cool !!!! Also, Purchase protection !!! is Yes Bank making enough profits already? 😅

whats the reward rate in percentage terms for base rewards and accelerated rewards
pre conversion

Redemption value varies from 0.10p to 0.25p

Based on this,

1x reward rate

Online: 1.2% to 3%
Offline: 0.6% to 1.5%
Special (Utilities, Grocery, Govt etc.): 0.3% to 0.75%

9% -15% return online spends is unreal. How long will this last is to be seen. With easy fee waiver criteria, this card is low risk.

Not able to check in Yesbank reward portal without credit card. Waiting for some one to confirm getting if the redemption in flights is good. But if they inflating prices like traveledge, then need to see.

The biggest problem is that you don't get 5x rewards on 30% card payment if you book flights using points for 70%.
Where is this mentioned? Do we get 3x rewards on booking point redemption flights?

9% reward rate (after paying 3500) with 3.125L limit spend capping per month on all online spends. The best card probably available RN on mastercard (i guess amex cards provide same after completing millstone). I will definitely upgrade my prosperity edge to this.

It says Maximum cap of 36000 reward points per statement cycle.

There is no mention of 3x36000 capping.

Under 3x plan, capping is 36000x3 (36K cap for 24/200 category) points, which is 3L spends and pretty good.

I don't know what confuse you.. there is an example in earlier posts..

As @noobdipesh mentioned,

Also, I hope following clears you

Online spends earn 24 points for 200 (eligible mccs) and it has 36K cap = which needs 3L spends.

Which is pretty good to avoid misuse and support most of the users.

Under 3x subscription it will be 36000x3 but it has 75K cap = which is also achieved around that same 3L spends.

1x online spends limit = 36K
2x whole points limit = 75K

You can ignore unless you spend more than 3L, this won't need to keep in mind for most users, and no need to be tracked.

Focus on rewards and see if it fits your requirement, cappings are high and can safely ignore.

Thanks for the explanation. The capping at 3L is good. I have applied for this card.

Why is this card not getting more attention here or youtube? Anything I am missing?
Yes bank offer fulfillment has issues and many times u need to ask customer care to get it done. They do it afterwards though.

And another thing is huge list of exclusions. Remember the fastag bug few days back or even normal olacabs and grocery mcc, which gives full cashback on many cards is also excluded here. And cleartrip/emt/mmt all use utility or railways mcc, which is again excluded.

So, it leaves out only for Amazon/Flipkart spends and direct airline/hotel bookings, which not many people do, as they get better options. But yeah, people can take advantage of this card even with these limitations, if they plan it right.

why do you want attention?
it will get devalued the moment people start taking it up
100%. Remember its yes bank not even axis, it can do anything at any moment of time to save itself.

BTW, I just saw that same reward points is offered on low end cards like ace . So there is same reward rate on both the card or am i missing something?
