@cardio_guy would you mind making this thread more useful with added columns like eligibility, work around etc. Also to include 2nd tier hni accounts also like yes granduer, indusind grande etc.
Work around - some accounts just require initial ip even though website says mab and all, they never downgrade or fetch charges like hdfc preferred, indusind grande, yes granduer etc.
Sone accounts even allows demat holding in trv calculation. I could contribute, with the community help can we create something more like this?

Definitely. Thanks for bringing this up.

Yes it has been long pending from my side. I have been bit busy with last few weeks, so couldn't add this yet. Sorry about that. I'll do that soon.
Also, the first post is a Wiki post. Anyone can click 'Edit' and make necessary changes. I would encourage if someone can contribute. Greatly appreciated.

You can also add:

1. SCB premium and priority banking (15L and 50L respectively. Used to be 30L but increased just two days ago. I had it and it was decent.)
2. Deutsche Bank PB (meh)
3. ICICI PB (okayish)
4. SBM private (ewww)

None of the HNI programs are worth it. But I buy lots of stocks anyway so I just buy stocks to meet the TRV for the ones I want.

Personally, I am aiming for JP Morgan Private account in the UAE, UK or US as I have companies there. Truth be told, I will probably never qualify for it because I invest on my own so not gonna have a spare 10 mil lying around lmao.

These are the ones I am planning to keep in India:

1. HDFC Imperia (utterly useless but parents qualify so why not)
2. ICICI PB (again, mostly due to parents so why not)
3. IndusInd Pioneer (They have the best FX rates by far)
4. SCB Priority (Had it for 15 years and its also global which is nice)
5. HSBC Premier (Its global and that helps for people like me)

How's Equity % ratio in TRV. Do you keep seperate Demat with everyone to maintain TRV.

Yes, I do. Its wayyy better than keeping liabilities (FD/ CASA).

Its 70% in ICICI Direct but I meet the criteria based on Savings account and FDs as well since its my main biz account. With HSBC and SCB its 100%. HDFC, my parents have FDs so never bothered with demat.

The real truth is what you told. None of the HNI programs are worth it.

True. I used to work in investment banking and genuinely LOVED finance so I just do it as a hobby. The real fun I have is with the offshore accounts (UK, US, UAE). Its like Pokemons for me. Gotta collect 'em all!

Good to hear, As you are into investment banking.
Have you ever consider ADCB- For your banking need.
If got time, Look at the in-depth financial reports, may be you will find, Certain good things, which normally people don't know.

Yes, ADCB and Emirates NBD are the best in the UAE.

But I have a hankering for the Swiss, the Brits and the Yanks. After a certain point in life, it becomes more about taste and personal preference rather than min-maxing and value.

I'm interested to collect HNI accounts which can be opened with IP but same can be withdrawn immediately without any downgrades. Thus making them 0 bal accounts.

Example:
1. IDFC Wealth - Needs 10L IP cheque. No downgrades after withdrawal.
2. IndusInd Pioneer - Needs 10L IP cheque. No downgrades (this is what I hear, may be someone can can confirm)

Do we have any more HNI accounts as above...

Instead of links, better mention Average Monthly Balance (AMB) and Total Relationship Value (TRV) in separate columns.

Add Salary account Eligibility criteria column as well.

Yes, you are right. But, these eligibility might change from time to time. I thought it's better to link them to the pages so that people can see the latest information and not get misguided. Otherwise we will have to keep updating it every now and then.
