Priority Pass Visit

Hello Everyone, I have a rather very interesting situation. I used my priority pass for the Lounge visit in Finland and apparently my HDFC card showed a transaction for 15€ I thought maybe it's kind of some hold which will be reversed. SBI used to do this, charge for priority pass visit and then automatically reverse. When it didn't get reversed I wrote to HDFC Bank they said will reply in 3 days and then said 7 days and never replied. I Escalated to priority redressal. They said I have been charged because I used my credit card however I wrote them kindly get this checked I haven't used my credit card but priority pass. They said give us 10 days and post that they replied they are unable to reverse the transaction as I have used the card and not priority pass, which was super weird because I didn't have carry my card and had paid using Priority pass.

I have now filled dispute but has anyone else faced this? Or it's just me?

i have never used pp, but i can think of some ways to solve this:
1) if you got a lounge receipt, which should show the details of the card swiped
2) if there is a priority pass website/portal where you can login and see your past transactions.
3) email to the airport lounge with your boarding pass and ask them for details from their system about which card was swiped, or a duplicate copy of the receipt. don't tell them that it is about a dispute, just state that you want to submit receipts for reimbursement, etc.

if you have any of the above, i think you can directly raise a complaint with the hdfc pno and rbi banking ombudsman. rbi can straighten them out if you have at least 1 proof of using pp. seems deliberate attempt from hdfc to charge you.

and thanks for giving a heads-up, I will ensure i ask for a receipt in future when i use pp!

in fact it is even more serious that a transaction has been added on your credit card without you swiping the card or entering pin.

I understand how this is possible as Foreign Transactions can go through without pin and only card number cvv and here my priority pass and credit card is linked however what's surprising is that even though I have free visits they charged me and later are lying that it's through card
