Queries | DCB LTF and Upgrade

I got DCB paid, earlier they rejected my application then it automatically got approved (I didn't apply again). Got a mail saying open account to make card LTF like 8 months down the line so I opened an account. Later got another mail from different person that they would make my card LTF and 5k points as well if I open account but I already had an account at that point. Now my institute got added to the list as well. There is another option as well, if you add a biller to your card, I think they convert it to LTF.
Yes this is happening for many of us. But in my brother's case, the credit card guy consulted with some one higher than him in post and get in confirmed.
You can ask him to do so.
Also if you are a chd guy.. I know a branch in pkl who is aware of this offer but it will be far from you 😅.

Can you please share your full experience of the process? It would be very helpful to all.
The process isn't that very different, for a new card, let them know you're from one of the listed institutes and they'll tell you what extra documents they require, usually its a passing certificate/degree.
If you already have DCB call customer care or reach out to bank and tell them that you want to convert it to LTF under the alumni program or premier institute program and they will guide you through it, you'll again need to submit more documents.

@sagar_keshri Are you holding any existing HDFC card, and if yes what is it the limit on that?
I was holding a Diners privilege card (paid 🥲) with 8L limit.
Are you having the ITR required for DCB normally?
Also how long have been using Diners privilege card?
They asked for my payslips only (salary acc is with HDFC)

I mean to ask is your monthly salary above 1.75L or ITR > 21L?
I got my card delivered last week. Sharing my experience below -
Got contact of the an RM for Mumbai from a reference, called him and he asked a few details about existing relationship with HDFC and asked me to keep the below documents handy - Payslip last 3 months, College degree and Passport/DL/Voterid.
A person was sent from bank to collect the documents from my office and I had filled up the offline form. I also filled up a limit split document since I already have a Regalia LTF(7lac limit), and I wanted to keep it (thinking it was stupid decision now).
Finally the limit was split as 2lac in regalia and 5lac in DCB.
Card got delivered in 2 weeks. The application tracking on HDFC website was useless always showed status as "dispatch".
Got verification calls from the call center twice, which was strange but when I asked the 2nd person, he said we call multiple times, you can expect another call.
Since there was no change in application status, I called my RM to move things up. After 2 reminders he got the application process moving and the card was delivered.

I have had a preferred salary account for the last 3 years. My RM is just useless. I kept on asking him for an LTF HDFC card. But he never told me about this. (He was well aware of my college though).
If you are from mumbai, I can connect you with my RM.
My home branch is from mumbai itself. My RM and RM head of that branch, both are useless. I have preferred account from last 7 years.
Need to add one account to my family account. Its been 3 weeks and nothing as been done. I keep emailing and calling them. I live in another city so thats all I can do. I still talk to them very politely, don't know if being rude or abusive is gonna help me or not.

Even my RM was not aware of this program. Its mostly the credit card department people.
