Question: IDFC Card Select to Wealth

View attachment 3254

Does the wealth card support just these 4 spa via dreamfolk pass? It seems useless then for me, won't miss the rejection much, as spa was the only thing I was looking for in this card.
In Mumbai, it's only on International Arrival?
Similar to you, I was looking to get upgraded to WEALTH because of Spa. Since it has stopped, I think there is no point of having a IDFC Wealth card either.

you mean its international lounge access is useless? in that case even i would stop trying to upgrade. no other value in the card..
No no, international lounge access is useful
But there are very few cards that give spa access
90%+ people here would already have a card with international lounge access, so spa access is the only lucrative offer for us

Guys, after a lot of follow-ups finally my request to upgrade Select Card to Wealth has been approved. As you all are aware the request was initially declined by banker@idfcfirstbank.com, later on I escalated the matter to head.customerservice@idfcfirstbank.com with all the income proofs and finally they relented and approved my upgrade request.

Will create a separate thread for unboxing soon.

Got mine upgraded via the same route. Whole process took about 10 days.
The Dreamfolks welcome letter still mentions that they have 15+ spas across airports, which has now been cut down to just 4.

@CardBu5ter @Bigde

i had also mailed the head of customer service, but didn't attach the income docs. just mentioned that i can provide the docs if they are willing to upgrade. but the refused upgrade.

do you suggest directly mailing them the income docs? would itr suffice?

Your income documents would certainly influence them to offer you Wealth card if it meets their criteria.

Yes, attach your income documents from the first mail itself to cut down on some back and forth emails

Requested IDFC to upgrade Select to Wealth card twice with all Income docs, 10L credit limit statement, first time outright rejected. Second time they promised upgrade but before that Limit enhancement was done from 4 L to 4.9. But after LE, upgrade wasn't approved.

I have emailed again to banker and head.customerservice@idfcfirstbank.com this time, request has been taken up and waiting for another 5 working days. Hopefully it will get through this time.

If they have asked for some time which means you application is under consideration. This is usually a two step process wherein your limit is increased first and then the card is upgraded. In your case they followed the same steps.

In my case the steps were reversed, they issued the card first and limit was enhanced later on. However, both of these steps were performed via one request. I didn't have to reach out to them separately.
