Rbi Ombudsman Complaint Against Transactree Technologies Private Limited (Lendbox)

Hello Technofino community members,

I'm reaching out to inform you about a complaint I filed today against Transactree Technologies Private Limited.

On October 2nd, I discovered an unauthorized loan appearing on my CIBIL report—a loan I never took. I immediately contacted Transactree via email, requesting they remove this erroneous entry. They asked me to provide proof of the loan shown on my report, which I promptly shared with them. They then requested a waiting period of 10 working days to resolve the issue.

Unfortunately, after the 10-day period, I received no follow-up or resolution from them. I sent a reminder on August 21st, requesting an update, but again received no response.

Today, feeling frustrated by the lack of action, I filed a formal complaint with the RBI Ombudsman (November 3rd). Additionally, I am seeking compensation of 20,000 INR for the time lost, mental distress, and inconvenience this has caused.

Have you been using freo pay by any chance, I came to know that freo is causing the issue. Is there any other provider associated with transactree lender?. I am also a bit confused the loan account is there in my cibil also. I did raise a complaint to cibil but no use. Please update if the loan account can be closed in anyway and also the reply from Ombudsman.

I had a mobiquik xtra account which was causing me this problem. Fortunately my issue got resolved after I made a complaint to RBI. They closed my account and give me a compansation of 2k for the delay

Bro I kindly request your assistance in providing the template or guidance you used when filing a complaint against Transactree Technologies Private Limited, which resulted in a compensation of 2k from the RBI. I am currently facing a similar issue and would greatly appreciate your help in navigating the process.

Not to demoralize you, but just stating facts. I have quite a few of those in my CIBIL report as well. It is not actually a loan taken (I am assuming it is the same in your case) but only a pre-approved amount. Amount disbursed is 0. (Please confirm if this is the case)

As a mix of credit lines improves CIBIL score, I never bothered about these. Otherwise, I will only have around 30 CCs in my report.
