Hello Guys,

One big news I wanted to share with all of you.
Currently RBL is upgrading LTF Shoprite to LTF World Safari if you got LTF Shoprite from Zomato Edition.

Whoever has it, just call RBL & say that the Reward Rate is very poor with Shoprite & I don't want to continue with it.
Also ask if there is any upgrade offer for World Safari/ICON.
Based on your profile there is 99% probability that you will be offered either one of them. Many people has got it.

Thank you so much for sharing this post! I was not able to utilize my shoprite card in proper way so I gave the customer care a call. Initially they were only offering FYF World Safari card which I politely declined saying there is no benefit for me to switch from a LTF to FYF. The customer care associate took some time to check if LTF is possible and initially mentioned its not. But after some negotiations he was ready to upgrade me to LTF World Safari card 🙂

All Zomato to Shoprite LTF customers are eligible for World Safari/Icon LTF cards but customer care executives are playing smartly by initially giving FYF offers so that if someone is unaware of LTF offer, RBL bank would be very happy to issue them FYF cards.

Finally able to talk to CC, requested them to give any other card instead of this useless shoprite, so she offers FYF Safari. I said no, I would like an LTF card only and instantly agrees for LTF also. Now waiting for the card approval and dispatch.

Absolutely! The customer care executive even told me that usually we don't give this card as LTF but since you have no use of your Shoprite card and want to travel so I am taking the request for LTF World Safari 😀

Customer care called me and insisted to me retain but I said I want lounge access and this card doesn't have that, he agree to give me FYF World Safari and I denied and finally he processed the LTF World Safari and I got dispatched message from RBL and Blue Dart 🙂.

Once I receive the card, will take written confirmation on mail from cc as well.

I also went via email route and got LTF world safari card. Initially had tried calling them 3-4 times but did not get anything better than FYF but now the card retention guy accepted the LTF request..

I got ICON , but after reading further comments requested them for World Safari, they initially accepted but now they are not giving Safari... any suggestions or just live with Icon card
