Regalia reward points redemption

TF Premier
All the Regalia card users,
On what are you redeeming your reward points and what's the reward ratio you get? Currently what am i seeing is the reward ratio for amazon pay voucher is too low at 0.15 which is less than cash redemption (0.2). Not sure if I'm looking at the right portal.

Thank you!

Koi nahi bhaiyo hum sab saath hain jinhone LTF Regalia liya hai Pre Covid era me. Regalia users ka bhi din aayega. Anyway i don't want to close it as it is my oldest credit card in portfolio. Would upgrade it whenever opportunity arrives. HDFC currently is offering me paid millenia upgrade, which i am not taking.

Ours were business regalia which still has free lounge access and business benefits. My downgrade offer was for diners privilege fyf with paid lounge access.

Closed the card in my name but still keeping the one in my father's name as he is a senior citizen over 65 years.

Acha uspe spend based nahi the lounge access bhai ?

HDFC has moved on from regalia customers. During desperate times when HDFC was banned by RBI, every tom dick and harry got a free LTF Regalia because HDFC was desperate to keep the top slot vs. SBI and ICICI.

Now HDFC is the bigboss. They have decided to leave regalia customers as is so they cancel the card or move to paid upgrades. I have not seen many Regalia customers get upgrade to LTF Regalia Gold.

While it says that you can get 1pt @50ps value, they options are hardly there.

airmiles now only has Singapore and Intermiles compared to 20+ options for Regalia Gold.

If you have a Regalia, hide it. Its an embarrassing card to be seen with.

we already cancelled one card in the family.
I got upgrade offer -> Regalia to Millennia

When i checked in their netbanking portal, they are offering amazon gift cards at 0.15. Can you please double check and confirm?

Na bhai, 1420 x 0.35 = Rs 497. Same goes for 1000 voucher too. Regalia pe utna hi hai conversion rate 0.35 ka.
Mene abhi calculate kara if we buy amazon pay voucher using regalia and substracting the buying cost (Charges) = It comes to 1.2% return rate.
We get 12 reward points (After deducting the buying cost) on Rs 1000 amazon pay voucher.

It comes further down when we redeem these 12 points to voucher redemption = 12 x 0.35 = 0.42% return.

It would get slightly better if we redeem in the form of flights / airmiles conversion.

The problem is I'm not a frequent traveler and mostly use on train.

Bhai kal me ek thread dekh rha tha.
Isme yahi discussion chal raha tha, ki konsa card sabse acha hai. But crux yahi hai ki sbke liye acha alag ho sakta hai. Mere liye acha hai card vo jo primarily instant discount de, secondarily on shopping thik thak reward point de, which can be redeemed afterwards with favorable conversion ratio. Also i need good card with good cashback on utilites (Which is almost compulsory for all to PAY).
So mostly mere spends distribute ho jate hain. Abhi me cashback card lene ki soch rha tha, fir mene last year ki excel me check kra even if i add all the spends on my all cards, it comes between 2 to 3 lacs only.
This is very defeating proposition for me because, then what benefits i get on different cards, mujhe same SBI cb card pe ni milenge.
Same goes for premium cards, if I want to redeem my points primarily on flights and hotels plus i divert my all purchases which includes utilites, online, offline shopping, insurance (Which should be comfortably high like in range of about 10 lacs) on a single premium card (Like Infinia) would definitely be more rewarding.
To meri tarah family kisi aur ke naam pe millenia hdfc cc le lo, smartbuy pe train ticket kara lo, 5% cashback milega apko. Also using millenia saves us from hassle of redeeming them in form of vouchers.

Understood bro. Also, buying something from smartbuy or payzapp is like - it just going to the portal using smartbuy or payzapp and paying our order, right? Or should we do anything else? And do we get any confirmation after than from payzapp or SmartBuy? And when will the rewards come?

Yes to get accelerated rewards, log in using desktop on smartbuy and then purchase the desired item.
