Don't take it personally.
If you don't have at least 5 lakhs for initial funding, you should not open icici Wealth or any HNI account.
Why?
because these accounts are only meant for Customers who can give a proper relationship value to banks. that's why they give many lucrative offers in these accounts.
If everyone gets HNI account then one day bank may reduce offers to these accounts. they may change/increase average monthly balance.
If you open HNI account and don't hold any heavy funds and manage a zero balance, what benefits of banks have?
I have a friend who also wants to open icici wealth account but he has enough funds. he is managing 1 lakh from credit cards to bank transfers.
None taken buddy, thanks for sharing!
You do realise that the banks are giving you that service at a cost?
aap pay kar rahe ho uss "hni service" ke liye.
I personally keep only the amount that I wish to keep as a safety backup and the amount I need as raw firepower for everyday needs.
Itne amount me if there's xyz service that I can attain, then why not?
Keeping 5L in a bank costs you ATLEAST 1000 rs monthly.
And this is a very conservative calculation - just against FD/liquid fund rates.
For a half decent person (which, everyone who enters this forum already is above) it would be 2-3x of rhat.
are their services worth this much?
I don't think so.
Secondly - trigger warning ⚠️ - to everyone who raise issues with everyone getting these services - aap log khud free me services chahte ho, but dusron ko nahi milni chaiye haina? When everyone's a superhero, nobody's a superhero right?
Kekda hi ban jao. Mehenat mat karna khud aur upar jaane ki, bas dursron ko aane se rokne me dimag Khapao.
Tumhe usse dikkat nahi hai ki banks band kar denge services kyuki wo toh profit lootenge. Kaise hogi dikkat? Kisi ki aukat hi nahi hai halla karwane ki. Unse tum bhidke ye services free for all nahi karwa sakte. Dusron ko koso bas, ki kyu sab le rahe hain.
