I just called axis toll free number to cancel regular Magnus which was due for renewal in 3 days and just before final cancellation they informed that they are getting back the monthly 25000 points milestone benefit on spending 1 lakh from 1st Feb 2024!
Didn’t trust them blindly on this as they have flipped too many times in the past but was definitely intriguing! Still went ahead and cancelled the card and can always reapply in the future in case it’s true and the numbers still work..

Anyone else has similar info on this?

Possible.. maybe they were just honey trapping me so that the renewal fees gets levied and then they would inform that oh sorry that’s only for M4B😂

I feel they were misinforming you. Reintroduction of the 25k milestone would mean revision of the recently changed reward rate/structure, and I don't think they would go through that after all that debacle.

Yes that was the same feeling I got that’s why I still cancelled.. but it was quite a big thing to hear just before cancelling!

For reducing they should inform a month ago. But for extra everyone will be happy even on sudden announcement.

The problem with AXIS is, even if the above information is right then on one fine day, they could say from Aug 1 2024, every thing is withdrawn..
So we need to be cautious

They kept moving the requirements for M4B also. I lost trust in them and did not try again.

True. But getting the milestone for 1-2 months at even 5:2 will still recover the fee

I think the retention team might be saying this but general customer care might not have that info ?
