Guys,
Because of overlook, I got stuffed..was charged for imps transactions . I thought there wouldn't be imps charges for wealth management account.
Done two transafers.. charged ₹17.70 for each transaction.
Upon checking , they actually mentioned that there will be imps charges even for WM account from May 1, 2024..

I had options of RTGS and NEFT but preferred imps..now I learnt my lesson..

No IMPS from ICICI ever,
only NEFT or RTGS from ICICI..

ICICI bank always reversed my IMPS charges automatically after few days.

I do NEFT instead of IMPS because NEFT gives you correct narration than random numbers in IMPS 😂

Just checked.. I did a 5L.txn 5 days ago.
Maybe something different with your account .check with your RM.

I too do quite frequent imps transactions, never was charged.. I will wait for a few days and then escalate...

But before, I was never charged, this time they charged and most likely reverse them..
But still there is some change

When the bank server is not fully operational like night time, bank holidays etc

ICICI bank always charge IMPS transaction and after few days, i guess after transaction settled. IMPS charges get reversed.

This has always been happening in my account for the last 12 years.

Up on re re-checking, actually there are no IMPS charges for WM acount even after May1 changes.. Theses charges only aply to normal SB accout.. Please check my first post...

Now , I have a case to figth with them, if they dont reverse it...

Normally ICICI wont do these kind funny business..
But as Abhishek Bhai said, because of odd our buiness they might have done..

But again, I do odd hour business only in most of the cases...
Okay let's see what happens... WIll update once the charges are reversed...

For universal appeal, lets put the words in a different way..

" ICICI is not a bad bank, when compared some other atrocious big banks" .
So, in comparitive terms... ICICI is a good enough Bank....

Damn I realised the same yesterday. I am getting charged 17.7 per imps and never was I charged this before. This is utter nonsense. Do t know why i even blindly used to do imps even when I had an option of rtgs/neft.

Thanks for pointing it out. I was just about to lash out at icici.
