This was already there in the initial FAQ. Confusion started when BoB published their TnC where it was mentioned customer can avail the cashback in multiple transactions unless the total cashback amount gets exhausted 🦁.

I think it is Typo from NPCI
Main Page pe jo Tncs hai, exhausted word use kiya hai. So multiple pe applicable hoga, otherwise no sense to use word exhausted.
BOB ne khud toh fulfill karna nhi offer toh obviously jo Tncs NPCI ki hogi wahi share ki hai.
