Rupay Credit Cards not supported in Uber?

When I try to add Rupay Credit Cards to Uber --> Account --> Wallet --> Add payment method, it always fails after entering OTP saying "There's a payment issue. Sorry, we are unable to confirm your card. Please try adding a different one."
I have tried with multiple Rupay Credit Cards. Are Rupay Credit Cards not supported in Uber?

You can always buy Uber gift cards from Amazon using Rupay card and add the same as a payment measure if adding the card directly is not working. it is helpful in some ways as you don't have to authorize every ride with OTP.
