RuPay Platinum debit Card - Lounge access devalued:

RuPay Platinum Debit Lounge program will be effective from quarter starting 1st July 2024.

In the RuPay Steering Committee (SC) Meeting held on 28th May 2024, the updated proposition for RuPay Platinum Debit Card was discussed and the SC endorsed the following:

1 (one) Domestic Airport lounge access per quarter.

Issuers shall communicate the updated Lounge program to the card holders through bank's communication channels including but not limited to, welcome kits, e-mails, SMS, and website.

Note - some banks are already offer 1 (one) Domestic Airport lounge access per quarter and some banks dnt offer any Domestic Airport lounge access.

No, every year I earn more discount than the debit card fees. 100*12=1200/yr on Amazon bill payment offer, Lounge Access, Swiggy Zomato off around 1200 more per yr. Net Profit: 1200+1200+Lounge-177(Annual Fee)

I think new annual fee is 200+gst(total 236)

Not sure about this my Last debit Card fee was charged on 1st Feb 2024 it was 177 including GST

Now, the only use will be Amazon Pay Friday 20% OFF up to 100/month on bill payment Offer & occasional discounts on Swiggy, Zomato, etc.
Still, now the annual fee is recoverable.

Yes, using Amazon offer we can get 1200 INR benefits per year.

So no lounge access now. Amazon offer can be used by any Rupay platinum nothing specific to AU. My BOB LTF DC gives it. And annual fee also revised from this year onwards.

bhai i think fees har bank ki alag hai, mere parents ka salary account hai central bank of india me. vaha unki fees 300+GST lag rhi hai.

Yes, fees vary. AU gives Rupay Platinum at 177 whereas Indian at 357
