RuPay Platinum debit Card - Lounge access devalued:

RuPay Platinum Debit Lounge program will be effective from quarter starting 1st July 2024.

In the RuPay Steering Committee (SC) Meeting held on 28th May 2024, the updated proposition for RuPay Platinum Debit Card was discussed and the SC endorsed the following:

1 (one) Domestic Airport lounge access per quarter.

Issuers shall communicate the updated Lounge program to the card holders through bank's communication channels including but not limited to, welcome kits, e-mails, SMS, and website.

Note - some banks are already offer 1 (one) Domestic Airport lounge access per quarter and some banks dnt offer any Domestic Airport lounge access.
