RuPay release a new circular for classic RuPay credit cards

RuPay release a new circular. After reading that one thing came to my mind "Akhir kahena kya chahte ho ?"

"Members to take a note, like other Card variants customers can link their Classic Credit Card variant on UPI and make transactions"

As per bank MITC file, All RuPay credit cards are linked with UPI. So, what's the requirement to release a separate circular for classic RuPay credit card variant.

Some banks might be misselling platinum and select ones saying only they can be linked

Yup, later i realized. Banks wale ultra pro max level k gadhe hote hai. Banks past me bhi bahot se mistakes kar chuke hai. So ya.

My kotak credit card starting with 3 series
I can't able to link it with any UPI app

Bank customer care executive had also no knowledge about it

And in Twitter handle bank said that THIS FEATURE IS NOT AVAILABLE ON YOUR CARD 😡

I think whatever Rupay Credit Card we all are using either Platinum or Select. Is there any Rupay Credit Card that belongs to Classic variant?

Recently, Canara bank, BOB, Bank of India got RuPay domestic credit card BIN. Maybe these are RuPay classic credit cards.
