Samsung Axis Bank Infinite Credit Card - Too good to be true?

I was just going through the list of axis bank cards and checked the samsung co-branded cards. The infinite varient can be a second go-to card after Magnus 1L milestone for those who can't afford Reserve.
  • At ₹5,000 + GST, you get 30K ER as welcome bonus by doing 3 txn of any amount.
  • Base reward is 5 ER/₹100, just 1 ER less than Magnus.
  • 15 ER/₹100 for international txn, SAME AS RESERVE 😱
  • ₹100 is min transaction for earning ER - @SMGROW
  • Utilities spends earn ER
  • If holding any HNI card, you can transfer to miles at 5:4

Actually we had this discussion in VIP forum

and thats why I was thinking to go for samsung or reserve as 3rd card. Have RBL as max limit card with me of 6.1 lakh so will be c2c application. Existing magnus and ace have 3 lakh limit

Daredevil advice: Once the card is delivered and welcome bonus credited, try to replace it with a new card. Check if you are getting welcome bonus again same as now discontinued Reserve hack.
That’s a risky thing. If Axis were to plug the loophole with retroactive effect then I will be forced to sever all ties with Axis like Technofino. the earning rate is so good alteady. Want to enjoy it for the longest time😝

Axis Select if used on retail transactions gives 20 ER per 200 spends. In combination with Magnus at 5:4 conversion, this reward rate is even better than reserve. Plus it comes LTF for Burgundy account holders.
what about M&S - if its in retail so you will get 400 ER for 200 spent ? thats huge - its not buy 1 get 1 but dont pay and get 2 😉

Do we still get accelerated rewards on gift edge even after Magnus 1l spend is complete?
Also, I got my magnus a month ago. Can I apply for this card after closing my FK card?

Axis Privilege: 12500 ER points for Rs.1770.
Privilege is FYF, you will get 6,250 ER as welcome bonus completely free. I got recently.

Axis has now listed few MCCs which only gets marked as retail transactions. Also, it doesn't have any welcome/milestone bonus. You can earn more using GC than retail txns using select.
