Possible.. i am surprised than why the offline agent told me card not being issued anymore

Maybe he's not getting commission for Samsung infinite, so he's trying to sell other cards

I already have SI. I can see the lower variant of this card in pre-apprvoed

They are saying that on call. Same for me, infact he even sent me sms for consent to upgrade, i put the otp but it didn’t go through and he said there is some technical issue.. later when i tried offline i was told card is no longer being issued since june 2024

Thats definitely false. I applied after June

If you cant find on app, just go to website and try to apply a new card, you will see all options.

I tried today upgrading to select card and faced same issue. Seems like they have put some cooldown like one guy was indicating earlier for getting same card again 😅. I had taken select in April and then moved to privilege in June. It would have closed around August end. So, maybe 3 or 6 months cooldown around November end or February end.

Card opening 12 months. You take the card first time, and use it for 2 years, let's say, then close it. Now you can immediately apply the same card again. Why? Because 12 months since card opening is already over

Interesting, So closing and opening vistara for gold membership would have still worked (if it wasn't discontinued already).

What about closing Samsung infinite just before paying the renewal fee and then reapplying?

They arent giving joining benefits for Select anymore. Otherwise it would have been even better

Select they were also giving me as i am burgundy and it is ltf. Samsung i followed up for long with pno also but they said can’t give within 12 months. I have stopped following up now, will try after 6 months if ER can be still be transferred at 5:4.
