Sapphiro Lounge Access Denied

Hey,
I got icici sapphiro dual card with alumni offer last month. I tried accessing Bangalore domestic lounges at terminal 1 - tried both BLR Domestic Lounge and 080 Lounge - and was denied entry for both. It's my first quarter and I've been told that there's no spend requirement. I didn't have my mastercard sapphiro with me, so I only tried amex.
Anyone else faced this problem? ICICI email support is giving me some copy paste reply.

Isn't the second table in this file the list of all amex lounges for icici?

Correct, compared to other banks, AMEX network credit cards from ICICI have the lowest lounge access list.

080 lounge - terminal 1 bangalore airport accept only accept visa infinite cards... but when checked dreamfolk online access - kotak white signature and indus legend signature was showing accees to 080 lounge - terminal 1 at banglore... then after they ve gave access... some unaware staff there at T1-080 LOUNGE

Recently, BOB Opulence Debit Card issued a new list of 66 lounges, including 080 Bangalore Arrival Lounge and Aviserv Mumbai Arrival Lounge. Highest lounge access list by any bank.

Have an icici Amex Sapphiro. I was denied entry to 080 today. The lady at the entrance smugly told me that this is premium lounge, and I should go for the regular BLR lounge. Was able to enter thanks to my wife's infinia.
On further enquiry, they said they accept only Amex platinum.
They asked me to sort out the misinformation on the icici site with the bank itself

Same with me I have rubyx mastercard/ amex so I presented the amex variant at BLR T2 080 LOUNGE they said the card is being declined and said maybe the merchant outlet is off in net banking, so I tried with the mastercard variant which was accepted and by the way merchant outlet is On for both variants.
