Complaint through twitter and also tag RuPay support team.

SBI Card support team are useless. Sometimes they give such stupid replies.

Tap n pay or swipe methods of payment not scan & pay (didn't tried)...other merchant like tea shop etc for every 100 spend will get 1 points & self transfer via phone pay merchant also 1 point for 100 Rs spent.

Today after 4 days of fuel transactions of 1919.98 (19.01 fuel surcharge 1%l + no gst) I got 19 Rs back (refund/1/% fuel surcharge waiver) from sbi bpcl rupay..sbi care person earlier said no waiver for sbi bpcl rupay...hails to sbi care...spread to all members.

thanks god, that is a relief. I requested sbi to change my variant of sbi bpcl octane from visa to rupay recently, they are saying no possible due to technical issue. But this issue made me rethink on following up, now i will follow up

But wait picture is not end.....I am still not clear wheither they gave me 1% fuel surcharge waiver because I mail them or for rupay they give 1% fuel surcharge waiver late (1% surcharge waiver is billed on 18th Dec 23 same as transaction of 1919.98 Rs date 18th Dec 23,but credit/shown on sbi cards app/sbi card site on 22 Dec 2023)...so be ready to track fuel transactions....

already tracking it as sbi is stupid wth points and surcharge reversals, so yeah additional pain

Update - I am getting fuel surcharge waiver on my flipped Rupay (SBI BPCL)

It was a pos swipe transaction not UPI

UPI scan at fuel pump won't qualify for surcharge waiver & won't qualify for 13X reward points,we will get only 1 point per 100 Rs spent for upi spent,mentioned in their T&C...Can u clear it that any UPI transaction will be count/considers for fee waiver ?

I know for pos 13X...just gave u extra tip..so upi transactions considered in fee waiver transaction? BOB HPCL CC T & C clearly mentioned,any UPI payment won't be considered for fee waiver !!! So what about SBI ?
