SBI Card Application Status as "Soft Decision - Referred"

I applied SBI cashback card through yono. On the last page it showed that application is approved in principle.

However the application status is showing as "Soft Decision - Referred".

What this means? Is my card approved?

Hello guys i have applied for simplyclick sbi credit card yesterday and it showed me this page *attached showing the credit limit so i submitted and when i tracked my credit card application it is showing that "We are now validating your application and it will take 12-24 hours." . So whether there is any chance of approval? and whether there will be any physical verification? (At first they showed me a range between 27000- 47000 credit limit and after clicking next they showed me 47000 limit )

May be for some it demands physical verification.

I applied immediately the day it launched back in 2022. For me it got approved instantly without any physical verification.

I applied the next week of launch…it took tedious 20+ days for approval in my case!!
And I got limit of 10k 🤣🤣

But there was no VKYC and uploading of income documents, at the same time, during application time i chose salaried but they didn't asked me about monthly income, company address but only the company name and the post you are working. It just feels weird right?

Coz I had another SBI card with 3L+ limit…so cumulative limit of two card was 3.4L around??

Yes first sbi card and don't have any other sbi cards.

I am havings savings account with them so during the process i chose penny drop method maybe thats why? There where 2 options one for VKYC or Credit and Debit of 1rs from an account so i chose 2nd option and provided sbi account details.

same was done by me in January. simple process, card app approved within 30 mins.

I want to apply sbi cashback..
Now my sbi bpcl is new card and three months not completed..
So when I will apply sbi cashback will they again do kyc? Or can reject also.

Sbi cards have different limits, it is safe to wait for atleat 6 months after a new card is approved.

try after 180 days. don't waste cibil enquiry before 6 months.

as cashback card was my first sbi card, i tried olamoney sbi card in march but said wait for 30 day and declined with no cibil enquiry also tried for another sbi card and declined in april with enquiry (sprint)

It took me 2 days for the approval
