SBI Card, Rejecting to file a chargeback

What do you think about the chargeback? What will happen?
Chargeback ager such me raise ho gaya hai.. then chances of getting that money is 99%.

But there is an issue with Indian Banks, they first try to resolve this outside Visa/Master chargeback process, they first try to get initial basic information from the Merchant (if they are big companies like Flipkart/Amazon etc.) and based on that Bank themselves can deny to raise the dispute with Payment processors.

What do you think about the chargeback? What will happen?
It completely depends on the seller. Chargeback can be claimed if bank has found any mis-selling by seller. If the seller agrees then only chargeback is accepted. If the product is working then seller usually denies the chargeback right away. Considerable time has passed and product is working though the performance is unsatisfactory. There is case on YT , an offline seller has sold non working ac and the customer paid with CC. He filed chargeback and bank sent a legal notice of mis-selling and the seller complied and refunded the whole amount. But he filed it within a week of purchase. Time is the key. As I said the case can take anywhere from six months to a year minimum. In last decade, people sued multiple brands over misleading claims, reasonably the others will also not take chances. They pull out a fine print and say that customer didn't read TnCs and whole case falls apart. Chances are very slim though, monetary expectation shouldn't be a goal and teaching the brand a lesson is the only motive in these cases.

Bought a bandhgala suit from myntra, it was the last piece for my size and was on somewhat ok discount.
To my horror received used product and myntra said that their QCs show product was in new condition when sent.
Myntra has degraded over the years and pass on used product to customer.
They were not even ready to accept the return. Somehow, I filed chargeback in this case it was raised from ICICI. They weren't even ready to raise chargeback on this scenario, only I mentioned that didn't received the product the chargeback was raised and myntra picked the product back.

Today I learned something new. I ordered an Acer TV and found out that its warranty can be claimed directly through Amazon.

Amazon is offering brand warranty on select items. If a customer encounters any warranty-related issues, they can claim the warranty directly through their Amazon account. An agent will visit the chosen address to pick up and drop off the item.

Hoping this feature will be available for all brands in the future.

For detailed terms and conditions, visit:

Here is the Acer TV I ordered:
