I have faced the same situation. I don't remember the name, but the agent asked i know someone and call got disconnected. Still waiting for approval or rejected

It's been more than 3 weeks since I got the call and no update till now

I check it every day ,say under process.Called them and Mailed them no use

No, they don't want to give 2 3 cards to single customer

I have seen many customers with multiple cards. Heck my brother had 2 cards too, but he closed 1 card 2 yrs back. So yea, sbi does give multiple cards.

Keep us posted but my brother got declined after 10-15 days and I fear same will happen to you.

at least you got your answer, I am in limbo. Can't even make a new application

I'm telling recent situation, not 1 year back. These days its not easy to get 2nd card from sbi.
They introduced overleverege policy

I am facing an wired issue too in SBI.
I had applied Sbi Simplisave Rupay card on 19th December.After 1-2 days all verification calls has been completed.
But after that they keep calling me and asking me to take Sbi Pulse credit card.
One of the executive even told me that based on my profile I am not eligible for simplisave but eligible for sbi Pulse.
Lol,I have taken call recording.
After mailing to principal nodal officer,I have complained in RBI Ombudsman.
Let's see.
Meanwhile my application is in still verification stage.I think they have put it on hold for forcing me to take Sbi Pulse card

Update: The card is approved.
But I have sent the voice recording to nodal officer and complaint in RBI Ombudsman also.
I think it's their marketing gimmick to pressurize customers to take higher variant card. Strict action should be taken.
