Which platform you have used to application?

What was your overall credit card total limit from other cc cards?

Do we get immediate approval or decline on screen while application?

I have total other cc limits around 24L

Will I be eligible to apply? 🥶

Every card has domestic transactions enabled beforehand, but that doesn’t necessarily mean your card is active.

1.suppose I purchase amazon gift card from amazon app or website , will I receive 5% cashback or not ??
2. If so , can we Track the Cashback after the transaction (or) After Transaction settlement in 2-3 days (or ) WE have to Wait Until the statement Gets Generated

1. Yes, you will get 5% cb from amazon.
2. Yes, you can track it from the app after the transaction is settled. You have cashback earned section in the app.

I applied in Jan 2025 . They rejected without proper reason after multiple follow ups with nodal officer and rbi ombudsman I got card approved in March 2025 with an great limit of 20k when I hold credit cards with 8L+ on each card I own

u can increase ur limit by submitting you ITR and pay slips to them

In fact I have raised mail to customer care , nodal officer and principal nodal officer with salary slips . As soon I received card . Just received blanket response after 5 days from customer care that I am not eligible for limit increase at current time even though I earn 1.5L net per month and they suggested I spend the great 20k limit for 6 months and ask again

Can you explain the whole process and time frame of application rejection and what were their ultimate reply before you reached out to the RBI Ombudsman. And later in how many days SBI Cards responded to the complaint and what were reply to the complaint or they straight away approved your card and complaint close?
Your detail reply would benifit many.

Even i want to know hw rbi helped as i have seen reply frm rbi that issue or deny of any loan is upto bank. Rbi dont interfere in dis process.

yes.

Chances are if you have a simplyclick card, they will deny you cashback card.

I have seen it happening as simplyclick and cashback card is a unlucky combo for people wanting cashback card too. I myself am a prime example.

I have seen prime card holders able to secure cashback card more easily but my brother is a prime card holder and he was denied cashback card lol so idk. It's quite ramdon their algorithm.

It is completely random. For example, i dont have any SBI card and they have approved my cashback card without any verification.

Logically speaking, any sort of KYC shouldn't be required for existing card holders if details remain same, but SBI credit card folks are idiots.
