SBI Cashback Credit Card Application Process 2025

Hi Team, anyone recently ( in 2025) applied this SBI cashback credit card?

Which platform you have used to application?

What was your overall credit card total limit from other cc cards?

Do we get immediate approval or decline on screen while application?

I have total other cc limits around 24L

Will I be eligible to apply? 🥶

I applied today SBI Cashback credit card using cashkaro application for 1400 benefit. As the card application is still under process but right now when I checked the mail from cash karo in which it stats that 1400 pending cashkaro rewards is already added to my account. Then i checked and found it in app.
I thought after the approval of the credit card they will credit the 1400 but I am yet to receive any confirmation from SBI cards about approval so how they credited the amount before it.

They can reject the rewards at any time. For me, they rejected the rewards for my HSBC CB card worth 2k after waiting 75 days. So, even after the approval, the rewards are not guaranteed. Btw, what is the current status of your application when you track?

My application sbi cashback card is completed till esign now what will be the steps ahead ( in status: verification in progress and your verification is under review and verification) and what are the chances of approval ?

is it verification or validation? if its validation and wait for 12-24 hours, it would be approved in 2 days. Did you complete KYC?

Atleast I'm proud working in private and not responding anyone come after lunch break, not asking very first question to customer where is your account - home branch if found different one then without hearing the problem and providing solutions, asking customer to visit home branch for solutions with great attitude, you can defend and be proud with their services as they didn't tell you to go 300km just for unlocking your access and services,

They refer you to your home branch because there is really nothing they can do with your CIF if it is not in their branch. If you want to avail service of a particular branch, then transfer your AC using yono to that branch and then go there. They will help you with your issue. This system is there to prevent fraud and unauthorized access.

It's in pending status only. It will be confirmed only when the bank validated your application within 75 days.

It's verification... Yes I completed VKYC yesterday. And what other steps are still left after E- Sign?

Also cashkaro can reject the rewards at any time when bank don't pay the commission to cashkaro. So just wait for 75days.

So applying through cashkaro will have more chance of rejection as Cashback card is most wanted card for customers and they anyway going to get customer for it..

I am talking about rewards rejection not applicable rejection. If bank validated that we activated the card, then only cashkaro get the commission. Hence we will get the rewards.

I applied partially through cashkaro and after that apply fresh application via splint also.

I filled the application till kyc in cashkaro. After that it got stucked. So just applied via splint, asked personal, professional details, then bank varification only and got approved instantly. No e-sign , no income details, no varification , nothing

I got multiple call yesterday.. I think my application is processed differently then.. I also applied it through cashkaro then later I submitted 6 months IDFC first bank statement and after sometimes I received a call and the person told me as your account don't have enough transaction so please upload other account details where you have more than 25-30k transaction per month. Then i submitted my sbi account details which has more than 50k per month transaction. But surprisingly she called me again and said, sir that also do not match the criteria.. so please upload 2 months salary slip. After doing that she again called me to upload the statement in bank in which I get salary credited.. as I am facing issue with BOI internet banking so was not able to get the statement so I just uploaded the SBI account statement of 3 months. And after a while I received a message for VKYC. And after completing that I got call again that I will get a call from verification dept. Later got a call she verified every details of the personal and professional details and said. I will get e- sign form later so please e-sign it as soon as I get and I will get card in 7 days but when I asked her about credit limit she told me that I will get call for split limit after that I done e-sign then I received a SMS that my application is submitted and details of the annual fee and all but their is no mention of 11 days or 9 days on it.
I wonder SBI cards has different process because for my SBI simply click card.. I just got a call from branch that I am pre approved for SBI card so asked me to visit the branch and when I visited the branch after two days he took my phone and filled the form from yono application and captured my photo and boom I got virtual card ready in just few seconds.

Few hours back I got call from cc, and she explained about the card benifits, and then said I can download the virtual card through the portal. I told her the status shows pending. She asked me whether I finished digilocker anumati etc. I said yes. She said, then your application is approved and you can download the virtual card, and card will be delivered in 3 to 5 days.

1 hr later, got another call for verification call like mother name, office address etc... She is in a lot of hurry. When I am recollecting and telling her my details, she told me fast.. fast.. i can't wait.. LOL. Even before I completed my last answer, she said ok verification completed. don't share card details and cut the call..

But when I checked the status now the response still shows "We are now validating your application". I don't know whether its approved or not.

Same thing happened with me , completed everything in verification they said its approved.But yesterday when i checked status "we are validating your application" . But today i received a call stating that confirmation for split limit ,i said ok but again called me to send an written confirmation and said it will be delivered in 2 days post sending email. I still see same status now also
