Sbi cashback Joining Fee reversal

what does it means can anyone explain,I got cashback in December 2023. Just want reversal of joining fee

Off topic question, I have ril card and asked for joining fees refund, which they provided but also asked me to pay the due amount, as they refunded after the statement cycle. On the app i see 0 outstanding, should I stillake payment for it?

Cards till Rs 999 are up for waiver. Dont think Prime,octane,elite etc will be up for waiver. BTW which SBI card do you own?

Here is what I did.

Wanted Rupay card but got Master card of simplyclick.
Sent email for converstion to Rupay, got denied.
Sent email for existing mastercard LTF, they denied.

Raised closure request, then made a dummy transaction to prevent them from closing.
Got call from retention team, asked for reason. Simply said I needed CC for UPI payments, and they denied me rupay card. He said they give it only to customers who have offer for Rupay, which I dont. He asked me wait a little longer... and he offered to reverse my joining fees which I paid 2-3 months ago.

I accepted for time being

I have SBI cashback card, i did not try to call cc as card is just 7-8 months old..

Just before your 1 year try again I think you will get the reversal.

This worked for me also. Just while raising a card closure request , the fees was reveresed. Also they made SBI Club vistara card ltf by this trick

Is it possible to make club vistara prime LTF this way?
