SBI Debit Card not received even after one month

Hello Mates,

My debit card was issued on 2nd April'22 and even after almost one month I haven't received either any tracking/dispatch info or the actual card.

I reached out to the customer care multiple times and registered a case id but I was told that my complaint got approved/closed however, yet to receive my card.

Have dropped a tweet to SBI Official as well but still no luck.

Any help would be greatly appreciated 🥺.

Earlier there was unlimited times... Now after 3 its showing yearly quota exhausted.....
One at a time right? 3 VCs can't be activated and used at the same time right?

Also, during the account opening I need to opt out for Debit card to avoid charges right? Or is it necessary to opt in for Debit card to avail the services of VC? Just interested in VC only.

Ye

YeS one at a time.... And yes opt out if debit card while account opening... Physical debit card not required for virtual card generation

I was collecting info and yet to open an account. But if you are telling you are actually not getting RP DC, then there is no meaning of opening the account for me. You can try that card on Amazon on Friday and let us know.
Sure thing, I also did quick google. I found couple of people who said they got platinum but in the pic they have posted is same as the one I got.

So, I think there are two possibilities
1. Card is indeed platinum but the virtual photo does not show platinum branding anywhere
2. Even if you select platinum, BOB will issue normal rupay even as virtual card.

However, this card has different number from my physical DC, which is Rupay classic. So I assume that it is indeed different one but as you said, will have to check on friday to see if this is Platinum or not.

Once you and @Batmanbaba confirm, then I will go ahead with the account opening.

Also please keep an eye on your account in relation to VC issuance charges. Most probably it will not deduct anything but still watch out for that.

I guess with this I've total of 4 r plat cards at my disposal, so it's all good now.

I don't see point in keeping more than that anyways.

Fyi, I've found out that AU rupay plat debit cards also have decent offers on BIgbasket, so its a surprising bonus!

Risk of what? Taking their credit card?
Dealing with their customer care for premium level banking with them.

No credit card is worth it, also BOB you can get it with C2C too so no need to open a/c with them specially for that. And as a side note, I had never received any offer either (But mine was joint account so I don't if that matters)

Mine approved without a single call... No ipv, no income documents nothings.... Just applied using one card statement..... Uploaded it in place of itr... Got more limit than one card...
Same here, but there was VKYC.

I never mentioned my a/c there, I only gave apay cc statement. While I didn't get anything spectacular, its worth having one rupay credit card with 50k limit.

Apart from long wait of 50 + days and having to mail them 2-3 times my CC statement and photo, I had no issues.

Again I do not know if this was due to me having a/c there or not.

Got my answer. No need to mention of savings account during CC application online 🥲.
