SBI Debit Card Reward Point - Changes w.e.f. 1st May, 2024:​

There have been several changes in SBI debit card reward point, full details can be found here : https://rewardz.sbi/content/overview -> Debit Card

Some of the changes observed are :

- 1,000 reward points capping per transaction (earlier it was 100 reward points)
- 10,000 reward points capping per calendar month (earlier it was 1,000 reward points)
- 200 birthday bonus reward points capping removed (not sure but it can't be seen anymore)
- all transactions will accumulate reward points except for account to wallet and account to account transactions

Excluding account to wallet and account to account transactions may mean no more accumulating reward points on CC bill payment via MobiKwik.

Yes, single transaction capping is 1000 RP and monthly capping is 10000 RP.

I was getting RP on the very next day for paying cc bill through Mobikwik using my physical VISA debit card. But then I came to know virtual debit card gives 2X points. So, I started using my virtual RUPAY debit card from 1 October for the same purpose. But till now I haven't received any point for those transactions. What's the issue here?

Yes, even I was getting as long as I was using my physical VISA debit card. But I took a risk of using the virtual RUPAY card but didn't know that glitch doesn't work for virtual Rupay card. 🙁

I never used Virtual RuPay debit card on mobikwik

Mobikwik have multiple payment gateways, we need to check which payment gateway offer reward points.

Other sites like - SBI Unipay, Canara Setu website you will get reward point and bank official Credit Card billdesk website too.

So, SBI rewardz cc told me that transactions done on Mobikwik and Paytm are not eligible for RP. And if we get that, that's a glitch.

No glitch, some mobikwik payment gateway comes under Utility category.

Mobikwik have multiple payment gateways, we need to check which payment gateway offer reward points.
