SBI Unipay: Credit Card Bill Payments Failed - Customers Struggle with Refunds

No, it didn't get credited to cc.
Then refund will come in 7-10 working day dw
You will get refund today evening or max. by tomorrow. Sat/Sun was holiday. Mostly it comes on 5th working day for me which is today in your case.
Same happened with me 23th of november, first success then failed and one trnx was failed and not visible in history afterwards.
didn't do anything regarding it and received refund in exactly 7 working days I believe.
Please avoid paying after 6pm and before 10 in the morning as suggested to me by someone in forum, never faced issue afterwards.
Which is better to pay credit card bill using debit card - canara setu or sbi Unipay?

Also why do we have to depend on individual bank portals, Don't they have a unified portal for Bharat Pay or BBPS?
I saw https://www.bharat-connect.com/ but it looks like it is not working for bill payments.

Oh ok. So it is some MCC based thing and nothing to do with BBPS or Bharat Pay.
I thought using BBPS wherever we use debit card for credit card bill payment we will get cashback.

Depends which debit card are you using.
If you use hdfc platinum, you will not get cashback in canara setu, because it's mcc changed.
Unipay works for both DCs (platinum as well as millennia)
Everything depend on mcc, not debit card.
Right, every bbps can have different mcc.
The mcc of unipay is confirmed to give cb, canara setu's mcc was too, now it was changed recently, I don't know about it now.

You were spot on. Got the refund just now.
Don't worry, you can login with the mobile number you used during quickpay and there you can see failed txn.
Anyways, it shown payment successful on which page? Mostly when I enter otp and it redirects back to SBI only that page shows payment successful. Before that I don't see anything besides please wait page after entering otp. If you got payment success at SBI page or even before that then you will get auto-refund depending on bank card you used. SBI takes 5 days to reflect, HDFC 5-7 days, IDFC 3-5 days. Your refund date will be 8th Jan now.
