SBI Unipay: Credit Card Bill Payments Failed - Customers Struggle with Refunds

And what about the HDFC Pno, is it linked with SBI unipay?
Your Source bank is HDFC or Kotak?

I don't know based on what he has suggested it, he can only answer that. Or may be because of copied post. If SBI has processed refund and given refund reference number and even then it's not credited then only it makes sense to contact source bank, in my view.

Though, try contacting kotak also and see if they can check.

I have already contacted them about this, they said I should wait till 20 November (for 31 days)
 
Done the 1st and 2nd steps just now but I have a question about the 3rd point.
Why do we need to involve hdfc pno into this matter when it is not related, because I done transaction using kotak DC. I don't understand the connection, if you can elaborate on it.
Contact kotak pno then. This is because kotak being the originating bank would pay you compensation if auto reversal is beyond T+5 days. So make them aware that you know the rules. In my case i did with hdfc dc. Kotak would definitely not want to pay hefty compensation, therefore it'll expedite the process

I did 2 trnx of 10k and 2700 on 25th of this month which were first displayed success and then failed, and the trnx of 10000 is also missing from UNIPAY history.
Same thing happened yesterday, paid 2300 which were successful at the time and then no money was sent to credit card and no where to be seen in history as well.

I used Kotak 811 super DC, what process should I follow to get the refund asap.
Haven't done anything except sending email to Unipay till now.

Any kind of help is extremely appreciated.

Can wait for 4 business days for automatic refund or also do a chargeback on debit card.

I had the similar situation where the transaction failed in sbi unipay by 811 super dc.
My Mistake: The same day I applied for chargeback after the transaction failed as the amount was deducted from my account. Not knowing that the chargeback process is different from other processes and according to kotak bank it takes 31 days to refund by chargeback. So after few follow up I received the refund on the 31st day of the chargeback.
Kotak Bank CS and grievance redressal quoted that chargeback status timeline is of 31 days based on Visa rules and regulations.

I think in most cases the refund is processed in few days or a week just leaving the rare case aside and chargeback guarantee you refund but it took 31 days in my case. As you also have same DC so I hope these information will be useful to you.
 
Made a payment today to axis bank. Amount debited from account but not credited to CC not recieved message of confirmation from unipay. Now the transaction is not showing in history. Should I wait for a day or two or raise complain now?

Understood, so the crux is that I wait for a week or so after which I should claim a chargeback from kotak and also email bbps, unipay, some cpgs email I saw on the forum, right?

Knock the other doors before chargeback door.
Email every concern entity and you can also complaint on cpgs.
I did all of it after chargeback so none of it was useful to me. But do it soon and see if it works in your case.

Understood, will complain on all portals by tomorrow.
Someone on the forum told that CPGS complaint was very effective and the problem was solved in less than 2hrs

Also, what's the process for chargeback? Never did it before.
First check unipay and confirm transaction history as failure. Then wait 4 business days (don't count weekends). It will automatically refund. I just had my first failure last week and got refund at the end of the 4th business day.

3 transactions in total failed actually, two of them showed success when it was done but the payment didnt reach cc neither I received email from unipay.
other 1 failed right away and it is showing in history as failed, but other 2 trnx have vanished.

wait for 4-5 business days, then if the refunds don't credit, raise the chargeback for those 3 transactions with kotak bank.
Instead use canara setu, I am using this site for last 4-5 months, no failure till now.

Got it, and should I call their cs for chargeback or it can be done over email?
Also, does canara setu accrue CB for kotak 811 and indusind Visa DC?

Canara setu has same MCC(utility) for visa/master debit cards as sbi unipay.Not sure about Rupay debit cards.
Call the customer care of kotak bank and know the process of raising the chargeback.
