Congrats. Only in 1-2% cases refund don't get credit and it's not because of SBI but because of the bank who fails to credit back and it stucks with them until complaint is raised. If bank is SBI itself, you don't need to worry.

Im in the same boat. On 21 mar 2025 tried to pay axis cc bill via sbiunipay using sbi vdc. Transaction failed and got pop up msg that refund will happen in 3-5 days
Its past 5 days and no refund still. Called sbi customer care and raised charge back. They said it will take upto 45 days for resolution ☹️
Mine is failed on 19th March wednesday .
No pop up nothing ,just end page with failed receipt ,luckily was able to take a print of that same page .
No sms for failed transaction and transaction Is also not showing when logged in .
Tried to raise dispute using transaction id from receipt ,their website throws error something went wrong for past 7 days .
No replies to email sent to Unipay support on same day even till today .
Total mess from so called No 1 Public sector bank with zero level of intent to serve customers .
Raise chargeback with ur bank

Mine got credited after 15 Days!!!
Mu case also was same. And sbi bank cust raised a chargeback. SBI works in strange ways.
Did you raised the chargeback or simply waited for 15 days and got the money ?
I tried writing to all possible email id's but those useless guys not even reverting back to any single e-mail .
This is March month. In between upgrades were going. Many txns are stucked in systems. It willclear out by itself. Max. you have to wait is 30 days. We mostly get refund on 5th working day. Exclude holidays as March had too many national and state holidays.
Patience is the key here. You can mail at support.unipay@sbi.co.in
I did emailed on support.unipay on 19th itself .The same date amount got debited.No response yet .Sent reminder again in span of 2-3 days ,no response to that as well.
Yesterday again sent with 2 more e-mail id's mentioned in this thread .
Today is like 7th working day if we consider last Saturday was working .No sign of credit yet.
My issue was failed amount was considerably high and I am running out of cash as due date is 30th of this month.Never in my wildest imagination had thought that this kind of mess will happen and have to go through this .
Ya.. mine is 30K stuck with them.
I've decided to completely refrain from sbiunipay and stick with paytm+sbi vdc for cc bill pay. that too in chunks of 10K
Bro ,let the refund come .Will never go for this mess.I will pay using upi or anything else but will never ever use SBI UNIPAY .
By today evening or tomorrow max. you will have your refund in your account. 🙂

Didn't raise any chargeback
Just dropped a mail at sbiunipay, but don't think they have any role in it. It just refunded automatically by the system.

Escalated on social media ,they told that it was processed on 21st .Still they were clueless why it was not credited in 5 days .
I complained to Nodal office also .Got a reply from them also, as they are further checking and will revert.
I have decided to now go for compensation for delay as per the RBI guidelines of T+5 days from original transaction date .
I have checked details , refund should be within 6 days for debit card from original transaction date .
Any delay further would be compensated by INR 100 per day till refund is credited .
Will update further here.

It has come automatically. 🙂 Bank will deny compensation here citing technical reasons. 🤣 RBI has now given them cushion from Jan 1 which says under category "undeniable circumstances".
