SCB card limit revised to 10k

SCB shockingly revised my limit to 10K.

Your credit card account credit limit has been revised from INR 130,500.00 to INR 10,000.00. For any queries, pls contact our customer care- StanChart

Is this temporary? How can i get my limit back?

They say it is temporary but consider it as permanent.

RBL did the same thing with me, so I closed it. But not so significant decrease. In my case, from 25K to 10K.

Within 1 month I applied for the RBL BMS card they gave me a 55K Limit.

every bank is dropping any xyz limit to direct 10k nowadays

Send an email requesting to reset the limit to earlier.

But wait..
This is SCB.
Email response will take 30 days.
Complaints are never heard.
..
So call the customer care and if it doesn't work, my suggestion is to close all cards/accounts with SCB and think of it as good riddance.

Its hard to get another scb card, they have strict requirements like office mail, pf, uan etc..

Yeah they can't do this, whats the purpose

I have cards from all almost all banks. I just keep them for bank offers. Will leave it as it is, it will get increased some day.

I used to have Bank bazaar rbl card with 1L limit, i closed it and applied platinum maxima within a month, got 50k only

Low usage might be the reason
