SCB card limit revised to 10k

SCB shockingly revised my limit to 10K.

Your credit card account credit limit has been revised from INR 130,500.00 to INR 10,000.00. For any queries, pls contact our customer care- StanChart

Is this temporary? How can i get my limit back?

Yes, once Axis got their hands on Citi, things degraded very fast, but until then in over 25 years with Citibank, I have never experienced what Standard Chartered has been doing. Never.

This is SCB's reply regarding limit decrease over mail and twitter. This is the final verdict. They can't increase limit even if we escalate

I had received similar mail today
Your credit card account credit limit has been revised from INR 164,200.00 to INR 10,000.00

I was primarily having this card only to pay taxes. Before the tax season had even begun these guys have made the card non-usable😱
