Many Banks have levied additional fees on cards for Education and Rent payments. Hence, Starting this Wiki thread so that we can compile the apps and card which can be used for Educational or Rent in Sep 2024.

Housing	1.69%	IDFC Vistara, Axis Atlas, AMEX
Cred	1.7%
SuperPay	1.65%
NoBroker	1.55%

Feel free to add apps and credit cards.

does paying booking token or education fees though IDFC Vistara will be counted as utility? I have made small transaction to know mcc but they mentioned it will take 24-48 hours to initiate it.

Not utility. Atleast this is what I checked on Housing.com

Cred (Edu fees) - 1.7%

ok, i have made transaction through amex plat, it got initiated withing 6 hours. It shows "locon solutions private limited" razorpay education PG. so I suppose same payment gateway things will be for IDFC and not considered as utility right?

That's right. Locon is the Merchant name.

Not sure about that. You will have to do a test transaction to find MCC code.

MCC will be rent only. Yes it needs rental agreement. Best way currently i know of currently is through Payzapp.

I wanted to discuss what platforms supports rent payment without owners PAN card and rent agreement. This can be helpful for members whose owners are not sharing PAN card or are demanding extra 5% to share PAN card details. I have found this common in PG's and Colive in and around. So any insights will be helpful.

UPDATE:
I have paid a rent of 30500 using RedGirraffe. I paid using my HDFC card using PayZapp. I'll update total charges

• RedGiraffe: 30500 (Rent) + 140.36 (0.46% charges)​
• HDFC CC : Yet to be billed.​

I have added a draft...

I think best is plat travel because of its 2 milestones.
On 1.9L spend you get 15k points
On 4L spend you get more 25k points+ 10k Taj voucher.

Housing also asks for PAN but it will not validate like RG.
