Nope only holding their card, and yes both office and home verification was done.

Guys I received BOB approval message. Checked status and it also changed to application approved. It took 11 days from the date of application to approval message. I have to say I am quite impressed with BOB as it was a very smooth process for me.

Is home verification done?

Just basic documents aadhar pan nothing much. One one photo which will be clicked from agent phone. Nothing much. He will click photos of the documents no need to submit photocopies

Today evening suddenly IPV agent called to me mentioning it's not possible for him to come. So he asked to send the aadhar pic and my home pic in WhatsApp 😂😂😂

Dangerous to bank as bank relies on agents for verification 😅

Is home verification done?

Yes. Home verification done 3 days after applying. I wasn't home when the agent came. He called me from outside of my home and just asked for how long have I lived at my address. And asked couple of questions about my work. My parents were home so I said if he needed any docs then I can ask them to give it to him. He told me not to bother them as he didn't need anything except that he just needed to take a photo of my home from outside and that was it.

Last time when he came for verification, took photo of me and home also asked me for proof of documents, which I didn’t had that time. Electric bill he asked me.

I live on rented house but don’t have rent agreement and now have aadhaar card with current address on it.

Let’s see.

Applied on 13 March, vkyc done on same day, yesterday got call from BoB representative regarding office details, might be he went to verify office.

I think they will come to home soon.

In my case, the agent showed up directly without informing me. I wasn't even at home as I mentioned in one of my previous posts. I am not sure what happens if we miss the agent's call.

They do not inform before visiting home/office verification. i spoke to agent about this he said some people plan before hand sometime to fake scenario if we inform about verification. Their reason is to directly visit and verify exact information mentioned in application.

Incase you miss their call, they will try to visit the place or call you next day if they could not locate the place. This is what i have observed during my card application.

Obviously they showed up directly for my other cards 😂.

if they inform you before, you can fake something at addres 🤣

I have no relation with BOB, applied for Select BOB card on 18 Mar, video kyc done on 20 Mar, physical address varrification done on 22 Mar, and now waiting for their final verdict!

yes they have done without your knowledge.

They will not go inside office or to security guard I guess, they just if that company exist or not at that mentioned address by you.

This is what I think, don't know the exact method which they follow. because I have many card but never got call from office saying someone came for verification.
