Simply save rupay card annual fee charged at the beginning of the year

I have applied sbi simply save rupay card on 2nd October 2024, it was showing no Joining fee, but annual fee 499+GST (waiver condition of 1 lakh)

But Today on 20 October I am charged annual fee off 499+GST
Customer care saying it is valid charges
How annual fee should be charged at the beginning of the year??

You didn't applied through that offer or SBI Cards didn't marked as 0 fee for that card application. If you have screenshots, can escalate and get them waived otherwise, can cancel without activating else have to pay.

Joining fee is to be charged in your first statement after obtaining the card whereas First year fee is to be charge after completion of first years then 2nd year then goes on...

2 lac spend as i have more than other best card as compared to SBI cashback and after heavy devaluation of this card i stopped this card anywhere is to be used.

There is Annual Fee and Renewal Fee applicable on the SBI Credit Card (SBI Card). Annual fee is a one-time charge ranging between Rs. 0 to Rs.9999 plus applicable taxes and renewal fee is charged every year...
