SBI IRCTC platinum card lelo bhai.. 10% cashback aata h. Only 500 rsTeam please help if there is any other alternative to smartbuy with similar benefits of 5% cashback on train tickets.
Smartbuy devalued it's 5% cashback to 1% cashback on train booking now.View attachment 73831
'UPTO' 10% that too in base fare for AC coaches. In peak seasons it offers 4% and only for card holder. Not family. Not friends. Go only if you're solo traveller.SBI IRCTC platinum card lelo bhai.. 10% cashback aata h. Only 500 rs
So earlier millennia debit card cashback was 12.5% with 5% smartbuy and 7.5% millennia card itself.Millennia cc gets 1% on smartbuy.
Correct bro , Both SBI & BOB IRCTC card have season based reward structure.'UPTO' 10% that too in base fare for AC coaches. In peak seasons it offers 4% and only for card holder. Not family. Not friends. Go only if you're solo traveller.
They consider it as core card, though it's third party. What's the review about HDFC Irctc cc? I don't think they give season based rewards... Its rewards are fixed.
Yeah. If you are travelling with a family of four in peak times your return will be a little less than 1% with the SBI IRCTC Platinum after including all IRCTC inconvenience fees.'UPTO' 10% that too in base fare for AC coaches. I have SC smart credit card but to get 2%, 1.8% for CC is also charged by IRCTC. So basically nothing is gained.Yeah. If you are travelling with a family of four in peak times your return will be a little less than 1% with the SBI IRCTC Platinum after including all IRCTC inconvenience fees.
Suddenly we have a use case for Standard Chartered Smart card. Use it to get flat 2% off.
Bob also has irctc card, though no practical experience with bob. Not to disappoint you but from this year SBI card should not take this much time, cards are approved in a week.Since when it's implemented because I have done IRCTC transactions for more than 25k in October month only. While I got 5% CB in statement but it really isn't 5% CB. The calculation just isn't matching.
Also, now IRCTC is not showing in Smartbuy at all. I wonder what I will do now as I have fixed monthly expenditure on IRCTC.
HDFC won't give IRCTC card (tried very hard).
Have applied for SBI IRCTC premier card but it's more than 1.5 month with no update.

How please explainSo earlier millennia debit card cashback was 12.5% with 5% smartbuy and 7.5% millennia card itself.
So now it will be 8.5% which is stilll decent I would say
You get 12% reward rate only on Infinia and this devaluation is not applicable for reward based cards like regalia/dcb/Infinia and it’s not easy to get Infinia and after the new changes in eligibility criteria for Infinia it has become next to impossible to get it.Buy Amazon pay voucher with 12% discount
My last transaction was on Oct 30th for which I received 5%cb ,so this has started since November 1st itself.Since when it's implemented because I have done IRCTC transactions for more than 25k in October month only. Excellent info ..As someone who has had an SBI IRCTC Platinum CC for nearly 6 years I highly recommend against it unless the card is your name and you travel solo multiple times a year. The card rewards regular reward points for co-passengers (1 pt / Rs 125) and the integration between SBI and IRCTC often breaks leaving you with missing points or points that cannot be used. The only reason I have kept that credit card is because it is the cheapest SBI card (annual fees of Rs 300 + GST) that works for 10% eCom discounts unline the SBI Cashback card. The HDFC IRCTC CC looks much better on paper but I have no real-life experience with it.
I second this. I've been holding SBI IRCTC Platinum card for the last 17 years. It is good only if you do frequent solo AC travel. As someone who has had an SBI IRCTC Platinum CC for nearly 6 years I highly recommend against it unless the card is your name and you travel solo multiple times a year.
