Standard chartered savings a/c

Hello,

I thinking to open a standard chartered Bank account.

1. Credit card offer
2. Cashback Debit Card

But don't want to maintain 25k because it is better to go with idfc or hdfc at this AMB.

I saw digital savings a/c and 2 in 1 account in their SoC but branch refused.

Anyone have more information.

How u will verify?

I asked dwarka and sansad Marg branch in delhi both refused the existence of these accounts. One branch said they can open bsbda account but don't know prime card available for that account or not.

I can verify. I have been getting cashback for last two months. I hold prime cashback card (opened using 2L AMB).

Usually from 25th to 4th we can expect. You will see cashback in the app as a credit.
Example: for July cashback, I can expect cashback to be credited between 25th August to 4th September.

Yes 2000 spends are not counted
It should be more than 2000

Any amount more than 2000 does not get cashback. So please do 5 transactions of 2k to get 500 cashback.

See minimum 25k MAB you have to maintain.
Open with 2L MAB Prime Account and then downgrade to 25K MAB Account.

You will get Prime Cashback DC on that 2L while opening but when you will downgrade you will be able to retain that debit card.

and 25k mab account name is..Alpha.?(pls fill up)

Will stan c bank do not charge anything a customer when he will change the saving account variant from Prime to Alpha.

Also i would like to ask after how much time we can convert that
2L mab account so that money did not get stuck.

Nope. You can request for account downgrade.

That I am still searching because mine is still 2L MAB one only, will look into this and update.

you can also convert your account to bsbda zero bal account after getting dc.

if you don't want to maintain an account and not have big transactions.

Did you check if we can later convert the account to a BSBD account? I have a Prime account that I don't really use, so if that's doable, I might want to go for it.

Not verified personally bcz I don't have Stan chart acc but talked multiple rm they confirmed me.

Also new account can also open under bsbda.

so many restrictions in BSBDA. Better to hold at least 25K account.
