Suggest me the best cards from the following banks

Hi All,

I'm looking to build my credit card portfolio and this forum has helped me extensively already!

In the same light, I want a card from the following banks ( preferably LTF , since I will be using the cards from these banks purely for offers)

If the card is paid, can you also list the possible benefits?

P.s. I have spends of around 5L/annum and my amex plat travel and SBI cashback card covers almost all my spends. Most of my spends are online.

Here is the list:

1. Standard chartered
2. Yes Bank
3. Federal Bank ( I've been trying for celesta , but the bank rejected saying my pincode is not serviceable -_- , I already have a FI account.)
4. PNB ( Not sure if the Rupay select is worth it and if pnb has any offers)
5. DBS Bank ( is this worth holding?)
6. Canara bank ( again worth holding?)
7. IDBI Bank ( saw some Zomato and swiggy offers? Again not sure if it's worth holding)
8. Citibank ( i still see a lot of offers going around for Citibank cards(mainly flights), are they still issuing cards after the axis merger? If yes, recommendation please.

Please keep in mind all the cards I aim to add to my portfolio is mainly for bank offers and not for daily spends unless one of them provides more value than my existing cards.

TIA

Image is quite big, it takes time to load and sometimes fail.
@S S V you always post big pictures without resizing :(. it makes me scroll the whole page frequently.:(
Unfortunately when I am working from mobile, especially samsung it is not allowing me to resize / or it takes quite an effort to resize... if I am on my laptop I always do it..
You notice this anamoly with me quite frequently because, I frequently attach the images to present the authentic facts.

Bro, I knew it. Really? It's so hard to do in Samsung? You can resize it here as well.

Let it be whatever though I had managed to view your screenshots.😉😂

1) Standard Chartered- Platinum card LTF
2) Yes Bank- try to get Reserv as LTF , it's possible with some extra effort
3)Federal- ignore
4)PNB - ignore
5)DBS - not sure why you even thought about it, hence safely bypass
6)canara - see above point 5
7)Idbi - see above point 5 & 6
8)Citi- as our friends said , you can try thru IKEA. But I wouldn't.

Rest later
Thanks this is super helpful.

I'll try my luck for SC and Yes Reserv and scout through the forum for tips to apply. Please feel free to share links to threads around these.

I still believe federal Bank is super useful. Atleast in my use case, most of their offers ( flights) provide maximum discount in comparison to other banks. Will keep my eye out for celesta or imperio.

Will probably skip on psu banks( I hold bob and sbi for offers) for now till they can get their online onboarding in place. It's a hassle right now with the way things are.

Thanks for this,

As I said, the main goal is to try and secure a LTF card to get offers.

Amongst the ones you mentioned, yes marquee and celesta are already on my list. Yes marquee is probably the only card I'd pay a fee for because of the benefits it offers.

Afaik, yes marquee is really difficult to get as LTF, so is with other yes Bank cards ( you can only through agent?)

And as for canara bank, do they push out enough offers to justify a paid card? By offers I specifically mean, flights, online shopping, online ordering and travel.

I already hold hsbc platinum and AU LIT for offers so the cashback or Zenith isn't a priority right now ( maybe an upgrade in the future)
Canara bank CCs are always free but you need to have an account with them to procure the CC.

Try to get a Rupay Select DC for its benefits. They ate chargeable but worth it.

Try opera mini, it gives an option to upload small /medium /large /original image version. Or you can also crop it using photo editor to significantly reduce size or you can also use image hosting websites like imgflip, takes only few secs extra ..

I don’t use my android phone much,
and also I mostly use my desktop where I use snipping tool quite efficiently..
When I use my iPhone (which is my main phone) I don’t want use another tool just for this, and I don’t find that much an issue to resize on my iPhone…
For some reason @imdjay have reported this issue frequently, not sure about his device specifications

From my experience,
SCB the only cards worth in their portfolio would be SC Smart or Super Value Titanium. Ultimate is the most overrated card in India, used to be very good, but their garbage reward portal and the devaluation of last year means this has become one of the worst credit cards for the fee range its offered at.
Federal Bank, go for any of there cards, worth it because of regular offers, and there isn't much between the cards.
PNB has to be Rupay Select, and yes, they do have decent offers on Swiggy, Yatra, Clearttrip...
DBS don't have any LTF cards of their own as of now worth taking, Canara Bank wasn't issuing cards to non-account holders up to last year, not sure if things have changed now and even if they have, not sure they have anything worth taking. City cards won't be worth it beyond the immediate as the Axis integration is about to be completed...

Yeah I agree, not even looking at SC ultimate. Not worth at all.

For my spends I still don't see SC smart or super value worth it, I'll probably stick to platinum rewards just for the occasional SC offers.

Will look into pnb rupay select as a lot of recommendations. I see it's pretty easy to make ltf. The only thing is getting the card, I tried applying about a year ago and if I remember correctly the process to apply was terrible.
