Swiggy HDFC Credit card rejected

I was getting Swiggy HDFC credit card lifetime free from swiggy. The residential address verification was done but today I got to know that the application was rejected/declined. How do I understand what's the reason behind it?
 
I think its always good to wait before activating the card in case you want to confirm the LTF status.
Or risk losing a limited period offer and regret later on.

Bro I’ve told you earlier, activate the card and enjoy it, if after 90 days (as per their terms) you get a fee charged, show those screenshots you posted earlier.

I got confirmation from them that this is LTF and already activated the card.

Because of unsatisfied response from priority redressal, I applied for paid Swiggy card and didn't activate it yet. I will wait for the card activation call. If they don't make it ltf, I will not activate it. I already have paid millenia

I applied for the HDFC Swiggy credit card in May 2024, but my application was rejected, so I left it at that. A few days ago, after two months, I randomly checked the application status and found it showing "Credit Card in Process," not "Application in Process."

I went to an HDFC branch to understand why my application was initially rejected, but the representative couldn't find any record of it in their system. I then raised a complaint on Twitter to HDFC Support, and they said

" we regret the inconvenience caused to you. We regret to inform you that your credit application with the reference number 24EXXXXXXXXX has been archived due to receipt of incomplete information and cannot be processed further. Hence we request you to visit your nearest branch for a fresh application. We seek your understanding in this regard, Service Manager "

Now, when i checked on today 13 August my application status showing "Credit Card in Process." I visited the HDFC branch again, but they still couldn't find any information related to my application or mobile number. Twitter support has also stopped responding after just one message, and I can't connect with HDFC customer service because I'm not an HDFC customer.

What should I do? Please help.

Can you tell m the process n a idea of what to write n to whom
Is ur vkyc failed due to unserviceable issue
They will ask u whether to resume application or cancel if u opt for resume they'll provide u 45 days to change the address and resume the application

Just req them through mail to resume the application once u update your address

They may re initiate the kyc process

Or try to connect via video kyc if the link did not expire yet.

So did they converted your card to LTF? Please share your experience
 
Ohh is it, what did the priority desk told you? Did they offer anything to you before closing the card?
No, I requested them to make my millenia ltf. But they refused so I applied to Swiggy card and I have not activated it too. I did not like to raise a request because I thought hdfc will not accept my request. So, the card is automatically closed after a month. Nowadays I don't like their responses to me

same happened with me for Tata neu card. For pixel did vkyc too received nothing, even no application no. wasted 2 cibil enquiries . so after 2 months tried again when so much mails received. got paid swiggy card from site.
