Tata Neu Not Opening, Insecure Environment Error

I have a problem opening Tata Neu App. Error I get is "This app cannot run because the environment is not secure and your data may be at risk". I have done the following but no resolution.
01. Uninstalled and installed app
02. Cleared cache, cleared storage
03. Restarted phone
The version I have is 5.2.1, so there is no way I can do an update, which the customer care suggested. I can't downgrade too as there is no old version available in PlayStore. It is almost a month since the issue, customer care only tells me to have patience until a new version is released which is supposed to fix the issue.
I had a spend based offer on the HDFC Infinity CC. I am supposed to redeem it in the 1st week of Sept. But how do I do it without the app opening properly? Can any of you please help, in case you had the same issue and you could resolve it?
Complaining on Twitter and on PlayStore hasn't helped too.

Is youe phone rooted? Check if you are connected to vpn or try changing dns setting.

Can you please post screenshot of error? May give more clues.

I have not tried to gain root access intentionally. I t happened all of a sudden. Attached is the screenshot with exactly the same error message as I mention in the original post.

Is your developer options enabled? Anything in developer options? Did you install any app recently?

if bootloader unlocked or dev options enabled..then an issue..if u r on custom rom..u have to pass strong intigrity..then yes it will work..now in latest aug patches ..many roms having strong passed

Not a solution per se, but if you want to redeem on time, try logging into a family member's phone?

developer options is disabled. I had installed moneycontrol app. I have uninstalled it now.

I can do that but the issue still remains with app. That would be a last-resort kind of thing.

if bootloader unlocked or dev options enabled..then an issue..if u r on custom rom..u have to pass strong intigrity..then yes it will work..now in latest aug patches ..many roms having strong passed

I am not a developer. Don't know how to interpret the doc. Can u pls explain a bit more?
BTW, Play Protect says no harmful apps found after scanning.
