The Wait Begins: BoB Eterna and Axis Magnus

Applied for BoB Eterna on 13 March

• Completely online process.
• Received email confirmation as well as text message.
• Completed Video KYC on the same day.
• Tracker showed pending VKYC until 15 March.
• Called customer care. Lady had no clue and asked me to call dedcated cc helpline and an agent there asked me to mail to crm@bobfinancial.com.
• Emailed on 15th but online status changed within a few mins to "application is under process".

Applied for Axis Magnus on 14 March

• Completely online again.
• No email confirmation whatsoever (as expected I suppose).
• Received a single text message thanking me for applying for the card and adding "an sms confirming application status will be sent shortly".
• No new text received after that.
• Online tracker shows the infamous "No details found".

I'm hoping both will be approved but the more interesting part is how long the whole process will take.

Update as of 31 Mar:

Eterna - No visible progress after address verification on 18 Mar. CC says it is under process and it will be completed soon but this was 4-5 days ago. I'm perfectly OK to wait.

Magnus - Applied through Vimal and got the card approved on 28 Mar and also card printed as per online tracker but no dispatch information yet. CC is saying dispatch can take 7-14 working days after approval which sounds like BS. Can you guys tell me what your experience has been with time taken for Magnus dispatch? Thanks.

Thanks for this suggestion. I reached out to Vimal Raj and completed the application yesterday. He said the card will be approved before end of month so fingers crossed. 🤞
