Award tickets are also released along with general tickets only I guess. So award tickets are separate, I see. Do you usually get them 1 month before or you have to book super early to get them ?
Yes it expires you get the ticket after paying the joining fee and around 1-2 weeks after milestone
- When do you receive the complimentary ticket and what is the time period to avail that? Does it get expired?
- Has it been useful for you? CV points? What's the rate of return you can achieve through this card?
When does the ticket gets expired?Yes it expires you get the ticket after paying the joining fee and around 1-2 weeks after milestone
With milestone completion you can get around 6-9 % return and other benefits
Same with me Vistara doesn't offer good connectivity down south. It has only direct flights to Mumbai and Delhi, but for one travel Gold status and CV earned compensated the fees along with complimentary ticket.I have the Vistara Infinite
1) Got the complimentary ticket after the payment of the Joining fees, the voucher is good for 6 months and you have to create the voucher code within that time. After that the code has the validity of 3 months.
2) The card has been useful, surely. Got the whole fee reversed, the 10k CV bonus for 100k spends was easy to achieve and had great value. The complimentary ticket didn’t came to any use for me. No business class connections from my city. The CV I earned and the Gold status compensated for it though. 6CV/₹200 spent.
Also had EazyDiner 40% upto ₹1000 off.
All an all a more than amazing card for FYF.
Complimentary tickets doesn't have exact monetary value. If the award tickets are available you can book the seat. (Taxes has to be paid)Does the complimentary ticket comes with some t&c or no strings attached?
Like assume that ticket price is 15k currently, can I buy that ticket using this complimentary ticket ? What happens if it's 30k ticket due to heavy rush or late booking?
Also is 1 CV= 1 Rs ?
Lastly from reward point of view, doesn't sbi vistara offerings look better than axis vistara offerings?

CV value also depends on the route, usually around Rs. 0.8 you get.

2 Business Class Tickets
4 Prem Economy Tickets
4/6/8 I'm not sure of Economy tickets are available for CV users to redeem against vouchers.
For CV points you need to pay as per price/CV conversion ratio. For voucher/award tickets there is no price cap, it's upto the availability and you've to pay taxes as I mentioned earlier.
Thanks for detailed information.I have been using Vistara cobranded cards for sometime now...
1. If you are trying to book using vouchers you'll have to plan journey in advance as award seats on popular routes are taken very fast...
They are best if you are out of Delhi/Mumbai.
Award seats are shared for vouchers and CV points booking, you can know availability by calling the customer care.
2. They come with validity of 6 months of issuance.
Once issued they are valid for 3 months(even if you have issued it in the first month itself). You have to complete your journey within that time.
eg:- If your voucher is expiring on 14 July, you can travel only till 14 July, can't book for any dates after that.
3. Once voucher has expired you can renew it for the same price for another 3 months. Don't think it's worth if you can't extract at least 3x value.
4. CV points can be used for booking it's simple.
5. Also when using vouchers/ponie you have to pay taxes, it's near 550 for Economy and around 1200 for premium economy.
So that means you have to spend around ~3500( Fee for card+taxes)+~1200(taxes for booking).
So unless the flight you are booking is not more than ~4700, it's not worth.
SBI Club vistara prime is a better option, you can even check Axis Vistara cards also (You get Gold tier for Infinite variant - which will be very helpful)if you're frequent flyer with them.which vistara card is good without spending too much, i can spend upto 2-3 lakhs/year ?
i am thinking for sbi club vistara prime..
as far as i know wallet loads and utility count in milestone spend, but is there any vistara card on which we earn rewards on wallet spend too
one more thing i checked vistara award flight routes, how came there isn't any flight from jaipur but have flights from jodhpur and udaipur, what kind of logic is that ?
Award tickets are also released along with general tickets only I guess.

No it’s up to the quota of the airline award tickets allotted. Based on availability of seats on the route as mentioned. What??? So there is no surety that the complimentary ticket will get me a flight ticket 100%?
We’ve to wait till merger and see, but many people on forum says reward rate and tiers will be same as Vistara for AI also. Let’s wait for some more time to see. Even after merger news confirmed this week IDFC launched Vistara cards clearly indicates that Vistara Co branded cards will be alive after merger also. Let’s hope for the best and enjoy benefits till merger.Vistara is about to merge with Air India, what would happen to co-branded Vistara credit cards?
Yeah, its one of those hidden things that you only get to know later on. Its the same quota for award flights. What??? So there is no surety that the complimentary ticket will get me a flight ticket 100%?
Would you recommend me going for the card then? My home city is Delhi.Yeah, its one of those hidden things that you only get to know later on. Its the same quota for award flights.
