Trick to get 5% from cashback card on bill payments

Some people have reported getting only 1% cashback on utility bill payments through amazon on cashback card. This is because full merchant name is different which is visible in statement only but on Otp page only amazon pay is visible. Here are the two tricks by using any of these we can get full 5%
1. Buy amazon gift card at amazon or yono gyftr. We will get additional 1.5% on yono gyftr and 3.3% on amazon as offer is going on above the usual 5%. Then use the gift card balance to pay utility bills at amazon
2. Load amazon pay wallet with 10rs by debit card, upi or netbanking. And then pay the bill using remaining amount from cashback card.(This second trick is not working anymore)

Loading via Uber was considered as Shopping on Amazon by the card. Same thing for Amazon GV purchase.

First time only it will block call cc and get released then future transactions go hassle free

yes everytime they block card via SBI Yono i phased 2 times but i got call next 1 minutes for unblocked the card

if you want loose 1.5% from SBI Yono then buy directly from Amazon It is counted on 5% and then pay Bills

Don't try to load money directly to Pay Wallet.
Buy amazon vouchers and add them to pay wallet. Then use it to pay bills.

Buying gift vouchers from SBI yono gyftr is a big headache.. the card keeps getting blocked due to suspicious transactions and need to reach out to customer care to unblock
